My mom dropped me, my sister and my cousin off at a Led Zeppelin concert. I was 12!!! Can you imagine!!?? We we three little girls at a big boy concert rocking out with some serious rock fans. We screamed, jumped and cried for four hours strait. One of the best days of our life ever! It was magical, spiritual, celestial beyond our little minds could process. I the saw them in concert as a young adult and knew I was witnessing history. Your reaction is phenomenal!!
I was here - this is from 77 at MSG I was at 75 show at LI Coliseum, me and boys were 15 then - also got dropped off by friends mom. LOL I drove in to MSG 2 yrs later (in my moms car) acid hadn't quite worn off on drive home - I still remember the Midtown tunnel part of drive home. I found the entire 75 Valentines Day show I was at on here - its a great recording - ruclips.net/video/wSw4kkZysbU/видео.html
@@rkb2092 I saw on Valentines Day at Nassau Colosseum in 75 and also in 77 at MSG. I wore out records and cassettes with Song Remains the Same! Had a sweet Marantz 125 watt/ch blowing up speakers after speakers - till I went custom Had a sweet Alpine Cassette player in Trans Am and 69 Chevelle SS - man those were the days!!!!!!!!! Kinda like Earls Court vesin of Stairway most. Find that 75 Valentines Day Massacre show on YT - its great quality and Jimmy with A game for sure
Hello,I'm from New zealand, obviously don't know you,but tell your ma she's awsome,my ma did the same for me here at the david bowie concert,......had to walk home tho,BRILLIANT.Hope your happy in your life......I am hehe.
If you notice - Jimmy started out playing on the lower guitar neck - the six string and then - he switches to the top neck, which is 12 strings - it's a thicker, fuller sound. Jimmy switches back to the six string for the guitar solo. Then back to the 12 string for the rocking outro. Right when the guitar solo starts - you get a nice shot of Bonzo and Jimmy jamming on camera together. Jonesy was playing a Mellotron in the beginning, which he switched into flute mode. Then he switched to keyboards. Robert's singing is out of this world in this song !
Just sitting here watching and waiting for the drums to come in and see his reaction. 😄 Love seeing a new generation of fans hearing and enjoying these masterpieces.
They ruled the 70s for a good reason. When I was a teenager, they were the biggest and best after The Beatles - the big difference being that Led Zeppelin toured and put on great shows. Great to see a younger person getting into the music that made me want to pick up sticks and play the drums - with dreams of playing Madison Square Garden some day.
Led Zep is another rabbit hole 🔥🎶🔥 “When the Levee Breaks”..”Whole Lotta Love”…”Kashmir” “In the Evening” (no one ever does this one!)…I’m sure you’ll get other suggestions. 👏🏼🙏🏻👋🏼
When I first saw them in 1975 you could see everybody snap to attention when they start up playing Stairway. Everybody has been waiting and you know it will be toward the end. I had binoculars so I was watching Jimmy. To me his solo actually starts right at the beginning and continues on till the end. Saw them again in 1977 and it was the same. Not many of the all the concerts I've been to can hold the crowd in such a state of attention.
Love to see you really GETTING this: the songcraft, the instrumentation, the presentation... the pure charisma. Kinda gets ya. Good for you, man- diving in and finding "buried" treasures Hi again from Canada- be safe.
I told you it was fantastic! I suggested this in one of your Floyd reactions, probably one among many, but we didn’t steer you wrong did we? Led Zeppelin are another rabbit hole to get lost in. Can I suggest Since I’ve Been Loving You at this same concert? It’s very bluesy but just as incredible. Robert Plant has some swag, and that’s for sure! Another band suggestion too if I may…Queen! Freddie Mercury is the lead singer and widely regarded as being the best vocalist in rock. He had a 4 octave range and a vibrato of 7.4Hz. Somebody to Love live at Montreal will showcase it exactly. Loving your reactions so far. Please keep them coming, I can tell if a reactor is being authentic or not and you are a breath of fresh air
I grew up with Led Zeppelin being born in '61. It makes me so happy to see you engage with their artistry and embrace their magic. Thank you so much for taking the time to produce these reactionary videos. Brilliant!
Well now young man welcome to the world of classic rock!!!!! You will get to hear what music is all about. Real talent they sounded the same on album as live so before their time........ This masterpiece has stood the test of time !!!!!!! cheers enjoy the rabbit hole
Well sonny, back in my day that had this AM radio... that would not play LZ songs because they were too LONG! but I was blessed to live in the bay area where FM stations would play the whole songs. This is EXACTLY why you went to rock concerts, LOUD yet so CLEAR. This band`s music went right to your soul. Over 50 years and still the GOAT rock band. When talents was what you see/hear is TRUE.
Jimmy Page ( lead guitar & acoustic) Robert Plant ( vocals & harmonica.) John Henry Bonham [ Bonzo] John Paul Jones ( lead bass guitar, triple bass bass guitar Mandolin Keyboards. So talented. Such an amazing group, love the blues influences too. When the Levee Breaks,U shook me huge catalogue of music fm 70s until Bonzos untimely & tragic death in 1981. I was so gutted,Led zep only performed twice since then. Live aid in 85 in philidelphia & Phil Collins flew over fm Wembley on concorde to perform with them on drums 4HRS LATER. & 2nd time with John Bonhams son Jason. Jason began drums at age of 4. Who better to learn from
I saw Led Zeppelin in 1977 in Michigan and I would like to say this song brought the roof down but the fact is it came down from the opening but “Stairway to heaven” stood out and proved why it’s the greatest rock song of all time. Period
Hey sweetie I was having such a crappy day and you just snap me right out of it please keep up the good work I'm so impressed rock on darling music brings us together

Led Zeppelin was created in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page (he also produced all their albums) and disbanded in 1980 with the death of their drummer John Bonham. Robert Plant did vocals/harmonica and John Paul Jones played bass, keyboards, and mandolin. The clip you watched was filmed in 1973 at Madison Square Garden for their concert movie called The Song Remains The Same (they have a song with the same title). They were primarily hard rock/heavy blues but played a variety of styles.
Look, glad you become a true Zepp fan,i,somehow, missed out this reaction, and now after 5-6 months and other your Zepp reactions,i watched this with a big smile on my face,Its really wonderfull to see how someones understanding(and reactions too 😄) of Zepp music is evolving and upgrading, its seems that,as i feel myself,it is neverending process, they gave us so much... take care and enjoy
I know it's been a month but you should check out Heart's tribute to Led Zep for the Kennedy Honors. John Bonham's son Jason plays drums and it's an incredible performance live and in front of the the remaining members of Led Zep
The greatest well known rock song ever. Any of the great rock bands to come after will tell you they were influenced by Zeppelin. All of these guys are top notch and considered the best for good reason. Robert Plant after Zeppelin has some great music that you should check out. Ship of fools is a favorite of mine. The song Rainbow shows how great his voice is after all these years. Any Plant fans should check out his podcast, where he speaks about things he's put out and what he's up to now.
The singer is Robert Plant, my second favorite singer behind David Bowie. The guitarist is Jimmy Page. He's easily top 10 guitarist material, though my money and heart lie with Hendrix.
the song was a major success and great epic achievement in Rock at the time. Some tired of it bc it got so much radio play but it will always be a true huge iconic beautiful song of the era
Bro! This is the 3rd or 4th reaction I’ve watched and they’ve all been great and your playlists 👀 think I can re-live the music I grew up on …even a Yes playlist 🥳 Anyways, Led Zeppelin hands down the greatest rock band, imho each member an absolute master of his instrument… so yeah, liking the channel…keep it up
Jimmy Page uses the double headed guitar when he will be using both 6 and 12 string guitar in the same song it's easier than having to change back and forth. All he has to do is just drop down to play the 6 string or go up to play the 12 string. Page improvised the whole solo. He did the solo differently in every concert.
if you liked that, check out - since i've been loving you - LIVE 1973 (same show). actually, you can pick any song you want from these guys they are the GOATS. they don't have a bad song.

I'm so glad you are documenting your journey. Watching you see Zep for the first time brings me way back to my 1st time listening to them. All I could say was "what the *#^$ was that?" "Who the *@^# was that?" And if u heard it on the radio, then u have to go to the record store, (if i had money, which was mostly never), but go to the store and hope they have a copy to bring home and play on a record player, (if u had one). Lot of work just to listen to music back in the day. I'm very glad you hit the right buttons and found your way to Zep. 1st Floyd. Now this. You're batting 1000, boss. I love it! ✌🏼✌🏾
You have to watch Heart perform this song live at the Kennedy Center. It's amazing. Then, if you aren't familiar with Heart, watch "Barracuda" live in 1977 and you will see them 40 years younger. Its fun to see.
Love Jimmy Page 2nd best guitarist nxt to Jimi Hendrix! My favorite Led Zeppelin song STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. 1971. Love these chords he's playing. Listen to Whole Lotta Love, their first rock n roll in 1969.
If you can watch Jimmy Page play that solo and not feel anything, you may not be alive.

50 years and it still rocks your socks off. Old age is the price we pay for being there when this music first hit human ears.
Such a pleasure to see someone appreciate the best rock band ever formed!
That guys voice is MR ROBERT PLANT Not to shabby,,
They were all GOATS. Robert Plant.....vocals. Jimmy Page ......guitar. John Bonham......drums and John Paul Jones......bass and keys
True! The only thing is: limiting JPJ to “bass and keys” is doing him injustice. Zep ain’t Zep without him…

Jimmy Page...the greatest guitarist on earth! Try The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song from this concert!! Killer!!
over the hills and far away.. mad. sq.gard. 73- an amazing guitar solo too!
Try some LSD with TSRTS.... A completely different movie.
The lower guitar neck is a 6-string, while the upper neck is a 12-string. Love your reactions!😊

Greatest band on the planet!!
There’s so many Led Zeppelin songs I suggest misty mountain hop,dyer maker,ramble on,the ocean,the rain song,Achilles last stand are a most….
I’m 62 and this song still makes me cry.
ROCK AND ROLL IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!! THE BEST LED ZEPPELIN
