Yeah, the bars can definitely be crazy. I'd highly recommend joining small group instances instead and let the lobby build around you. Spirits of the sea is always a good option.
I love seing people share their VRChat stories, great video! I've been trying vrchat for about 5 months, I don't play very often, but I've gotten the User trust rank... I suck at making friends, I've had some nice conversations, sure, but I haven't made a "real friend" yet, which is one of the main reasons I even started playing vrchat, to make friends, cause I don't really have any irl, but I'm too afraid to come up to people and start a conversation. Sorry, I don't mean to give off sad boy vibes or whatever, but I needed to get some of this out somewhere.
Thanks for enjoying the video! I completely understand. It's harder than people realize to make good friends. I've had many times where I was down in the dumps because I didn't make many friends. It honestly took me a year to find my close friends. And even then, I don't talk to most of them anymore. My best advice would be to just be yourself. Put yourself out there more. If someone is a good enough person, they won't mind if you butt into their conversation. You can also join my little friend group if you want. We're very welcoming!
Yo Soldier. You not gonna mention your clone trooper buddy CJ aka me? Daaaamn. Nah I'm kidding bro, you're good. Lol I love the video. Keep it up and hopefully I get to see you live!
This was really cool to watch! I feel like everyone's experience is so different with the platform where I've been playing for 3 years and our experiences hardly allign. Its good to hear some good stories about vrchat when it seems like all the coverage this game gets is either how this game is the worst place on the internet or just funny moment videos
Thank you so much! I completely agree. Not every experience is the same. I wish the game would get more coverage about the good aspects of the game. I believe there should be content that's made by people like Brandenfm and verum but most people are copying the same ol stories over and over again.
@@fwbsoldier21 yeah and I do enjoy Bradonfm's videos and stuff too but positive vrchat content has been in kind of a drought as of late (although maybe its just the videos I get recommend). Like both of the RUclipsrs you mentioned in your video that inspired your video are kind of inactive which sucks. I guess it's just hard to make videos about vrchat without in a way "doxing" everyone involved. Like I would love to make one of these videos but I feel like I couldn't cover my experience without giving potentially unwanted attention to niche vrchat celebrities/friends.
@rumplypaper938 VRChat content has been heavily lacking in positive content. I feel a lot of these youtubers lose video ideas and inspiration. I'd highly recommend watching derafog if you haven't already. Great videos!
@@rumplypaper938 Because of the social aspect of the game, it is hard to censor people. It takes the charm out of it. Still, it's worth a shot. You should try it!

been playing for a good 8 years now and yea.. VRChat has changed a-lot but still has the same vibe if you look for it and not just follow trends… Always liked world hopping but now i just have a few worlds i visit every time i go online… just relaxing and nothing too crazy.
@kuromiLayfe it really has changed but most of the culture is about the same. Excluding the whole android thing. I have the few worlds I like to rejoin too. Never been a great pug fan but still enjoy midnight rooftop and the black cat. Been going to sunset bar too.
Look up Resonite, Phia has made a video about it, it's basically the same concept of social VR but with a game engine built in essentially. You can interact with anything you can touch basically, and make anything you are willing to program _inside the game_ . It's still in early development, bit it looks promising so far.
hey nice video! - we just joined vrchat and were feeling a overwhelmed by the ruckus bar areas - visited spirits of the sea and the vibes were perfect

I wish we could build in game. I sometimes go to horizon worlds or recroom just to build. wish we could in vrc. also good video enjoyed it
I appreciate it. That would be cool. With the complexities of some of these worlds, it would be hard to do but maybe one day!
