A good video. Agree that anyone who owns a NIO will not need to swap all the time. However, there will be plenty of times and use cases when someone wants to save 20-30 mins, or when they want to change their battery size, or they simple need to replace a degraded/compromised batter. I am more convinced than ever that NIO bat swap is an amazing approach, and I would expect a LOT of individuals, taxi, and fleets to start opting for it over this next 12 months. Not getting rid of my TSLA shares, but not adding more. I am adding more NIO.
Miriam is 100% correct. Learn to drive the 75kWh battery in the best way. 100kWh is a wasteful indulgence. That said it would be better to have say a choice between 68kWh LFP and an 84kWh LFP battery as opposed to hauling around unused Cobalt battery weight. You should try a road trip in BYD HAN AWD 82kWh(usable) out of an 84.5kWh(gross) LFP Blade Battery that loves to be charged to 100%.
The 75kWh battery is a much better battery than the 100kWh. As you saw when you plugged in you got almost 150kW of power, the 100kWh one have a max of 125kW and that is just in the beginning. The 75kWh pack is much faster charging to 100% so if I was you I would stick with this newer tech.😊
If you stay at a hotel that has indoor parking and a commercial kitchen they will have a house electrician and the right "juice" to hook you up inside their secure garage. Just ask for the hotel manager.
Hey Marcel - next time you speak to NIO please tell them they need to be the first company to invent wireless charging just like we now have for phones. Imagine pulling into your parking spot that is wireless enabled and by morning your vehicle is fully charged with no wires. Once NIO invents this - GAME OVER!

How can a café not have a WC?

Agree Lucas! Great comment!

You should have AC charged to 100% overnight and its good for balancing the BMS.
How is the sound system?
Having my issues with it to be honest. Its fairly good when cranked up but at lower volume I have seen better sound systems. Bit of a downer really
A subscription car? How long are you going to keep it this time?
Switching to an ET5 next. Flexible is the new premium :) Stay tuned ..
How far are you away from a battery swap station?
Currently about 500km away. There is no Swap Station in Austria yet. And the next one in Germany should be Zusmarshausen right now.
My first ever comment. Hello
Hi
Whats with these thumbnails lately 😂
WILD
Sounds like Nio cars need a toilet too
lol
Beautiful weather. Please learn to wipe the screen when filming, fingerprints look awful.
