Check Soil PH Using Apera AI 209 PH Meter - Checking Your Meter to Assure Accurate Measurements

How I check the PH of my soil using the Apera AI-209 PH meter. I also go over checking to make sure my meter is accurate using calibration fluid.
You can not stick this PH pen directly in to soil but this video shows how to mix water and soil so you can check the soil PH.
PH pens do not last forever. They typically last between 6-18 months. I show how my old meter stopped making accurate readings and how it was determined that the unit was faulty and needed to be repalced.
