I paid off $130K worth of debt and I didn’t make close to six figures. I was flat broke, no business or savings and I didn’t have anybody to bail me out. Some way or some how people always find the money to pay their utilities because they will not tolerate their electric, gas or water turned off. They also find a way to pay for TV. In 2005 when I was broke and in beat I turned off my TV service and never turned it back on. Trust me if you want some bad enough you will find a way! No one puts a gun to our head and makes us do retail therapy. I’ve finally learned that if I don’t have the cash money to buy something then I can’t afford it, period!

My debt is now 2832.67 from around 8000 and I'm not patient either... I mean, it really bothers me to have that tiny bit left because it's still gonna eat so much of my income to pay the last of it, but when I consider that I payed around 5000 off in a year, I have to remind myself that it's just a couple months of hard work left. And then all that cash I'm not spending on debt goes straight to me!

This was so great listening to. You guys are so fun but informative! It left me feeling inspired to be more financially savvy and tackle my student debt after grad school. My goal after settling into my career is to acquire financial freedom. I think the peace of mind of not having debt is golden.
