Well considering how every time Peter tried to explain Harry wouldn’t listen and/or tried stabbing him, the butler is still stupid so in I think the directors cut Harry just forgives Peter on his own
Actually he did tell him, in the middle of their fight but Harry called him a liar. It took his butler to tell him the truth since he was the one who cleaned up Norman's wounds and confirmed his own glider killed him. I guess the only reason he didn't tell Harry was because he assumed Harry didn't know about Norman's villain character.

There were a lot of ideas in the early scripts of the movie that didn’t make it into the final cut but was used in the Spider-Man 3 novelisation. One of these things was this unnamed doctor character who was a part of Sandman’s story. Flint Marko’s daughter, Penny, was actually had an unknown terminal illness and doesn’t have much time left. Marko was paying the doctor to research the illness to find a cure and resorted to becoming a robber to keep funding the expensive research. In the scene where he teams up with Venom in the novelisation (which was part of a deleted scene), Marko was playing with his daughter by forming himself into a sand castle. Eddie shows up after Penny leaves and manipulates Marko by preying on his emotions and desperation to save his daughter, convincing him Spider-Man will keep getting in his way and he has to kill him. In the novelisation of the final battle, Sandman was about to kill Spider-Man but his wife, daughter and the doctor show up to stop him and the doctor tells Marko that it’s impossible to save Penny and she’s going to die no matter what, causing Marko to give up and confess that Uncle Ben’s death was an accident like in the original film. I was actually hoping that they’d actually use Penny dying in Spider-Man No Way Home, maybe have Norman tell Sandman that his goblin serum could save Penny to convince him to side with the villains and maybe have the three Peters create a cure for Penny’s illness along with the other cures for the villains. 23:44 funnily enough, Sandman was suppose to be the villain for this movie and there would've been a fourth one for Venom, but it was changed last minute to this
How It Should’ve Ended did the “night your father died…” scene a lot more realistically, even if it was meant to be funny parody: “I loved your father, Harry, as I have loved you.” “You…are SO fired! You mean to tell me you knew all these years that my father was a psychotic murderer and you wait until now, when I’ve injected a substance into my body to make me evil, destroyed my relationship with my friends and got permanently scarred, to tell me?!?!”
The Sam Raimy Spiderman Triology has aged pretty badly if you think of them as serious superhero dramas, theyve aged like fine wine if you think of them as Comedys.
In defense for the actors, writers, and director, nobody wanted to do Venom except for the studio. They forced them to put Venom in, and it was bad. Imagine how the movie would be if they had just Spider-Man vs Sandman
This and the Star Wars Prequels. The faces of the "It Wasn't That Bad" Renaissance. See you in a couple years when the next Renaissance stars "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.
To be fair on sam raimi's part. He had 0 idea on venom. He wasn't even originally supposed to be in spider-man 3. But he was forced to because idk, it'd be "epic," i guess. (They weren't wrong. Even though it's the worst out of the 3, it's my favorite.)
If you remove Venom from this movie it has solid potential as a movie. Peter and Sandman is a nice parallel to Peter and his relationship with Harry. It wouldve been a nice story and then Venom could get his own movie.

I made a meme out of 3:58 that freeze frame five years, used Andy Serkis' gollum as the background and pasted that on there. 😂
this was the only tobey spiderman I saw in theater as a kid. i thought emo tobey was the coolest thing ever
Can't wait for the Andrew Garfield reactions
I’m waiting for to them see uncle ben death in that movie
The Raimi Spidey universe has high school students who look 30 years old, and college adults who act like kids.
Remember that Sony forced Sam Rami to include Venom... which is why he feels so shoehorned in
27:53 you can see his skeleton when the bomb explodes
4:55 honestly the hospital has probably known Peter was Spidey since the second movie. Good hero. Bad liar.
The funniest part of the film is def when Eddy Brock is in church praying to Jesus to kill Peter Parker 💀💀
Me looking in my McDonald's bag realizing I got the wrong order
12:05 :
27:21 Iterally what I thought during the movie
Love how Jack is so hyped for this movie! 😂
They make the most random parts of the movie absolutely hilarious 🤣
How It Should’ve Ended did the “night your father died…” scene a lot more realistically, even if it was meant to be funny parody:
“I loved your father, Harry, as I have loved you.”
“You…are SO fired! You mean to tell me you knew all these years that my father was a psychotic murderer and you wait until now, when I’ve injected a substance into my body to make me evil, destroyed my relationship with my friends and got permanently scarred, to tell me?!?!”
17:36 even the black guy looked back like wtf lol
If you want a good Venom story arc, then you should start watching the Spider-Man television series from 1994. That show absolutely rocks!
“Get back here *SHOCKER!!!*”
The Sam Raimy Spiderman Triology has aged pretty badly if you think of them as serious superhero dramas, theyve aged like fine wine if you think of them as Comedys.
The closest we get to an actual comic book on screen for that very reason
Ursula Ditkovitch is 100% unironically the best woman and romantic partner in this entire series, Peter really did her dirty.

Props to the guy that made the Nostalgia Critic reference in chat
12:57 was edited like a candy commercial from the early 2000s
9:12 Honestly if I had millions of fans I would also say that.
it always bugged me how she was angry at Peter for kissing Gwen when she did the same thing to her fiancé in the last movie 😑
20:05 Best scene in the movie. You know a movie's good when Spiderverse references it.
If you remove Venom from this movie it has solid potential as a movie. Peter and Sandman is a nice parallel to Peter and his relationship with Harry. It wouldve been a nice story and then Venom could get his own movie.
15:29 he looks like hes about to say "i am a surgeon"
7:46 Let's be real here. A full movie with him as the main character would be awesome.
