double touch, but it doesn't count cus first is a block
enrealidad es solo bloqueo
You have reason
But that follow up isn’t his hand on the other side of the net?? Which is not legal?
Yeah, blocks don't count as touches in general. It can hit your hand twice or both hands one after the other and it won't be a double.
then it be an over the net foul
Double touch but legal
Speak if you're gay
@@TheRamenGuys3 that’s why he said legal?

1st touch is a block. Followed with spike
I saw double touch but now that you say this, you're right
that would mean he reached over tho if it was followed by the spike. its just considered as block in one motion
It's still considered as a block
@@AD.liEn_250The ball can touch the block multiple times. Doubles don't apply to blocking.
@@matthewtolentino5141 yes but i didnt realize that It was a block
Many people have misunderstanding what a block is.
As long as it is allowed in Physics, you can touch the ball as many times in a block (single action), that means you can touch 10000times the ball if it is a block in single action
finally someone who understands lmao
What if my crush blocks me on Facebook while I touch her twice? Is it legal?
@@luismora9121definitely legal, she’s just overreacting
@@luismora9121 it depends on how you look
Thank you!
While blocking holding on to the ball for a bit and multiple touches are allowed. This is just one valid block. Right call of the ref. The challenge is also for net touch

The first touch is a block. The second is an attack over net. It should be a fault.
Why would that be a fault, you just explained why it isnt
n't
@@yesyesyesyesyesyes2021 The second touch is an attack over net!
@tangtang6898 that's not allowed? If he were to block it then come down and bump it over the net that would be a fault?
@@knxdesu no the block doesn't count as a touch so it's not a double touch
Its not because he touch it twice it because he reach over the net and hit it downward, its still consider as the red teams ball
tell me you don't play volleyball without telling me you don't play volleyball LOL
yeah, so before a bunch of idiots join your cause, here are the official FIVB rules:
"11.1.1 In blocking, a player may touch the ball beyond the net, provided that
he/she does not interfere with the opponent’s play before the latter’s attack hit."
After the opposite team made its third hit, you are allowed to block it, whatever the position of the ball is, i.e. you may reach over and block it at their base line if the ball was going backwards, if you can, like superman.
If the opposite team plays the ball near the net, but still on their side, and this was not their third hit, you may still be allowed to block this by reaching beyond the net, if:
1. The ball is moving in the direction of your court.
2. And no player of the opponent could possibly (per the referee’s opinion) reach the ball. You are not allowed to touch the ball beyond the net if it would interfere with the opponent’s play before or during their attack hit.
@@itoobiasedwhy are you insulting right away? I think what he is saying is that because the ball is still in the opponents area after block(1st touch) it is an illegal hit in the opponents space(2nd touch). (Second touch is not a block and he therefore can not reach over net)
No
As far as I remember from when I used to play volleyball it would only be considered a foul if you were interfering with the setter, but in this instance at least it doesn't seem to be the case but I'm not 100% certain on this. And to be fair from this perspective it would even seem that the entire action would be considered a block anyway not 2 touches even if it would look like it in slow motion.

Yall didnt understand its not because of a 2 touches block its because he touches the ball before its in their side and that is not legal
So most pro vball blockers are illegal ? Because they usually block with their hands pushing to the other side.
The big risk for that block would be net touches
@Blitzkit blocking while the ball is on the other side is obviously legal, but he had already touched it one time which counted as a block, the second touch when he pushed it down was an overreach, which is not legal unless its a block
@@aikopppbut since you can touch the ball as many times in a block shouldn’t both touches count as a block?
I think it would only be an overreach if he blocked it on the first landed and then jumped to spike it down, that would be overreach
Completely speculation though would love to see what you think about this.
@_ELzY_ no I think the second touch would already count as a pass, thus overreach, because with the first touch he was able to stop the momentum of the ball to be able to control it and push it down. Even if you're in the air you can still do this kind of stuff, especially passes like these that include overreach because you have to jump over the net and push it down.
This is only my opinion tho, I'm no refree and in the end it's the refree's choice who to give the point to
Ball was still technically on the attacking side when the block occurred, so it should have been considered a reach over foul.
You can reach over as far as you want as long as the opposite team has already made 3rd contact so this is perfectly legal.
@@lifewithminahkwonyes but the block reset their amount of contacts no?

For me looks like illegal, sinse you are allowed to block on opponent's side. But you are not allowed to spike on their side
2 touches
That wasn’t a spike though. Look at it in slow mo again
@@socialjustice95 if it's not a spike, but it's an attack hit.
Yup. I cant see how this one be legal. The second movement was completely on the other side of the net. It would be legal if it’s just a block and no other movement.

You get 2 touches on a block. Clean
It was an over reach 😬
"Consecutive (quick and continuous) contacts with the ball may occur by one or more blockers, provided that the contacts are made during one action."
Whether this is a legit play or not depends on whether you think this is one action or not.
No people ain't arguing about that they rather say it's overnet hence not allowed
Its valid👍 no way a double touch and holding violation as the tip of fingers was used to push the ball down and not the palmas his hands was over the ball
It was an over reach
I think wrong call because the block is legal, also it's not double but the tip is over reaching because still it's Japans ball after the block
Great blocker directing where to drop the ball. 1st time seeing that👋👋
Reaching? the ball hasn't crossed the ball on the other side but it was already pushed downward
Im gonna agree with the people saying its an over the net hit.
Clearly a finger catch followed by a throw down, not a spike. A spike is a hit. This was a catch and slam
Double touch, referee has miss call 🤦♂️

The only thing wrong is that they thought they can win with Poland
The foul is not double touch, he has right to block that didn't count same as touch, but he didn't hit the Ball, he just caught her in one hand and push the ball on the floor, is illegal, and didn't count same a block...
You can catch her with one or two hands, but is not allowed to close down the ball to other side...

wrong. show me one time youre allowed to basically hold the ball other than serving.
@@kushdog8when both blockers push the ball it's not just touching
It’s a hold, the ball spins in his hand and he changes the direction of the ball while maintaining contact. You can tip or hit the ball but not change its direction while holding the ball.

The second touch is not a block. It is a overnet hit downwards.
It looks totally legal to me. The only thing the block cannot do is touch the ball before it breaks the plane of the net
When you go up in a block motion you can touch the ball as many times as you want so long as it’s one motion and the hand remains above the net. So long as this is deemed one motion it’s fine I’d say it’s fine.
They stepped across the line that's align together with the net ... isn't that a overside or a reach over foul🤔🤔🤨

Looks legal bc Nishida touched it. Mayyybe a catchball. But that’s up to the ref so if he didn’t call it it’s legal.
Block doesn’t count as one of the 3 touches right?
Im confused?
Would this be considered a legal double touch?
Its not a carry because it bounced off of his hand, and 1st touch on blocks dont count

It's legal under the "new" rules. I think the rule is that you are allowed to attack any ball on the other side of the net, no matter if it's the first, second or third touch, if the ball is clearly going to come over and no player is near the ball attempting to play it.
Since the ball was going to come over and nobody was attempting to play it, the overreach is legal.
It's O.k. no fault
