Had no idea you were playing Darktide! I loved watching your Killing Floor and Payday vids! Very informative! Glad to see you tackle the Tide games :)
I'm of the opinion that this update has more or less removed some viability for the vet, especially so with the marksman's focus. A movement restriction in a movement shooter is some pretty backwards logic, and considering that even before this patch, marksman vet was already less viable than the melee/voice of command paths, limiting it's abilities and versatility just ruins the playstyle in my opinion- locking you into one of the other keystones which are very specific in and of themselves compared to any other class.

@@ethandubbs1450 agreed, I'm just so pissed off that my favourite playstyle with the infantry lasguns is essentially redundant now
@@lawfullemon fr, Boltgun builds are terrible now. Only thing that got buffed was vet melee/shotgun
I feel fatshark is just shafting vets so that psykers and zealots get their time in the sun. Vets argueably were the best class since launch. That and reddit darktide players need somebody to blame for their fuckups

Yeah I kind of agree. Even with keystone Veteran still feels like a worse version of the other classes. It needs way more identity co pared to the other 3
Ive kindve gone both left and middle for my lasgun crit build, not as strong before but still taking about specials and elites with 1 or 2 shots
Except for ogryns, maniacs and ogryns they take like 3 or 4
None tbh, all other classes allready do baseline what the keystones provide better and more efficiently

(PL) Odcinek super. A te nowe perki są nawet fajne. Lecz niestety po przeróbce drzew weterana gra nim się trudniej. Poza tym przydałybysię 35 punktów.
(ENG) Great episode. And these new perks are even cool. But unfortunately, after the veteran trees were reworked, he is more difficult to play. Plus, 35 points would be nice.

I came back to the game to see if it had content updates and found they had ruined my favorite character fat shark are idiots if they wanted to change the class so much they could have made a new hero instead of fing up my veteran class! i loved the heavy bolter but what made it good was instant reload on volley fire !
I would play this game if it was on PlayStation
