    Ingredients for cake :
    4 egg yolks (蛋黄)
    1 egg (全蛋)
    20g caster sugar (细砂糖)
    1/8 tsp salt(盐)
    50g corn oil (玉米油)
    40ml thick coconut milk (浓椰浆)
    50ml pandan juice (班兰汁)
    100g plain flour(普通面粉)
    10g corn flour (玉米粉)
    4 egg whites (蛋白)
    80g caster sugar (细砂糖)
    Filling :
    150g butter(牛油)
    60g palm sugar / gula Melaka(椰糖)
    50ml water(水)

    Thanks ms. Kwa, i tried it twice and it taste so well. My familly love it, But i also got trouble when i rollled it. It didn’t crack but the skin of the upper cake was stick to the paper cake. So my roll cake surface didn’t smooth. Do you have any tips so that it wont stick again?

    成功率很高,我用牛奶代替椰浆,奶油馅我用椰糖+奶油一起打发,很香也不甜,😄👍

    If I use pandas essence, what do I substitute for water because you use water to get pandas juice? Can I just use 90ml coconut milk and pandas essence? Thanks.

    I had tried twice but I can't roll it. It will break. Why??? :( But my cake taste nice.:p. Please reply. Waiting for your answer

      Try to roll it while it is still warm. Then let it cool in the form of a roll. Then, unroll it and spread the cream, then roll it again. I find that works for me.

    HI, I tried making it with your recipe, the sponge came out ok but the moment i roll it , it start to crack, may i know what is the reason behind it? I changed all purpose flour to cake flour and use baking power, i used veg oil..

      Egg separation method gives u more sponge texture cake...that Swiss roll cake need,so easy to roll.

      Did u try Lower down your oven temperature or lesser time for baking your cake? Or your egg whites not whisk good

      Jeannette Foo , use 1/2 - 1 tsp pandan essence and add 2 drops of green colouring
