How to get a broken battery tray out of a Mustang(99-04 specific)

    have similar issue in that the 8mm bolt wont budge at all. Its rusted out just like yours was but how on earth did you manage to hand screw that off? Great video!

      Got lucky I guess.. once I busted a hole in the tray, the bolt had zero tension. Try using vise grips to bust the bolt loose & some PB Blaster. Good luck & thank you.

    How the hell you get that screw out with your hand mine looks the same I have the. New battery tray picked it up today

      I took a flat blade screwdriver 🪛 & hammered🔨 around bolt until the tray was loose. Then the bolt came out pretty easy. If it doesn't try vise grips.

    Where u get a replacement I got a doormen kit cause that bolt in the kit is long as hell

      The battery clamp/hold down bolt? I got everything through lmr.com it was under the restoration or hardware link I believe.
