      Indians don't know true because our history is designed in such a way that only one community and one party was to be glorified. What about Parsi's or Nagas or the several tribes in NE nothing we just glorified our Invaders that the problem brother we don't know our roots. Indians don't care this I disagree.

Infrastructure, economic development, etc are below par and the lack of determination from successive govt is appaling. Some Indians thought we Mizo fought for Independence because of Famine. But no, this is not true. We fought Independence so that we could have a sovereign state of our own so that all of the sons and daughters of the Zo's who have been separated by different constitutional boundaries can live together freely and happily,where no one will suffer racism again. If we could have got independence during the time when the MNF insurgency, we will be united with the Chin state. But, as Zawlnei Saikhuma have prophesies become true we will not gain independence yet.

That's why there was peace in all NE states as well as in Punjab. And now it will happen in Kashmir once all the traitors are weed out and the state is handed over to it's rightful owner.

    • @oneplus1987
      @oneplus1987 5 лет назад +16

      I wouldn't even say the insurgents want freedom. Everywhere they are just a bunch of gangs/organized criminals after 10 yrs of their formation, when they start looting people.
      The northeast people who have insurgency problems can be summarised as-
      1. Do they want independence? Not much, because they don't want the Chinese influence to come in (as in myanmar)
      2. Do they love India and hate Pakistan? Yes to indifference because Pakistan is not a problem for the region after Bangladesh formed.
      3. Is christianity an identity? To some extent.. Yes. But your tribal/ethnicity is more crucial than your religion.
      That's why the khasis, mizos, nagas are happy in their own states as long as they are the majority and feel a sense of security. Their loyalty is to a secular India, and not some external Pope or Caliphate.
      But they are very cautious of the Tripura demographic replacement problem.. In that they fear replacement by any other any outsiders i.e other tribes, bangladeshis or even the biharis, bengalis or marwaris in their own little state
      So in effect, it is important for the rest of India to know the political problems of the region and not interfere too much in the culture/food habits/customs of the NE. Because there is no bad blood between the NE and rest of India for the past 2000 years.
      They have integrated a lot in the past 20 years and will do so in years to come without much hassle.
      They are the first people who will defend India against any Chinese invasion or as they did against the Japanese in WW2

    are not they the ones with real power? but how far they have used it to serve society as they always demand? also, how will history remember them? usually, they are not mentioned in history. but it's them who can bring real change. have they done enough? also, could you compare Indian bureaucracy with that of USA, Canada or western European countries? because as an unemployed young man I understand it's bureaucracy which has made staff selection commission at centre and my state dormant, lazy, inefficient and highly corrupt. so could you please dedicate a topic on efficiency, honesty and integrity of post-independent and especially current bureaucracy?

    I love how you think of Mizo people as fellow Indians..far too often I hear people refer to Northeast Indians the way British referred to India.
