Hi Jimbo, I just passed the NSW driving test first go with the help of your videos ! I had reviewed all your videos on the signals, maneuvers and more importantly head checks in every step, Every bit of your videos that you had posted was helpful and it was so informative and precise. I would like to thank you and you deserve the full credit for it!
I booked my driving test and only had 1 week too study and drive around because I never really drove that much I watched every one of your videos in a week and got 100% on my test
Just passed my driving test on the first try with 110 points! Thanks for all your videos Jimbo, your videos are the only thing that I had around to help me pass the same and it surely did wonders :)
Hey Jimbo! I passed my test in the first go from Bankstown by watching your videos. 😊 I couldn’t thank you enough. I wasn’t confident about myself that I would pass but your videos helped me to park a lot. Before my test for the last few days, I just continuously watched your videos. Thanks a ton. You are doing an amazing job, helping many learners ( less confident) like me. Thanks again ❤. Good luck to you. ❤❤❤❤
Hey jimbo,I just passed my NSW P2 liscense test in first go as I converted my overseas liscense, just want to thank-you for all the help your videos have been. I prepared myself in just two days using your videos and implemented it in my everyday driving as well thank-you hope you never keep helping others thank-you.
Hi Jimbo passed by test on first go full marks thanks to you video.I had an international license and was disappointed I couldn’t convert it because of misinformation but it’s done now thanks to you.Keep up the good work I will share you videos to others
Hi Jimbo, I just passed my driving test in Marrickville. I just wanted to thank you for all the videos you made they were super educational and it helped me out a lot during my tests! I went over your mock tests videos and intersection videos multiple times to check how each person handles intersections with vehicles blocking your view, because I had previous trouble with giving way while my view was obstructed. I will definitely buy you a coffee for your hard work and continue to support you through watching your videos in the future! Truly appreciate it.
Hey Jimbo, thank you so so much for all these super helpful videos, it really helped me brush up with the road rules before my exam today and thanks to you I passed at Silverwater today! Please keep making these videos you absolute legend!
Hi Jimbo! Took my drivers test today at Warrawong & passed 1st go! Grateful for your videos, it helped me immensely. Please continue what you’re doing. Cheers! - Charles
Just passed my driving test on the first try with 110 points! Thanks for all your videos Jimbo, they definitely gave me a boost of confidence as well as extra attention points.
Great contents. Helped me a lot to pass the driving test and obtained my full license at one go (converted from Indonesian driving license). Thanks to my driving instructor and Jimbo’s video🤝.
Been watching your videos to help me pass my driving test which is scheduled in 2 weeks time. Thank you for making these informative and helpful tutorials!
If someone sends me the routes and I have some time then I can do mock test videos of these areas. I won't be offering conducted mock test due to the travel distance.
Hi Jimbo, what are the things that will fail you if you use them in a test? I know bluetooth audio is off limit, but what about cruise control or other stuff.
You can't touch your phone at all. You can refer to your reverse camera. I don't know of any case where someone used cruise control on a driving test. I don't know why you would. Cruise control is more driving on faster roads where you are not stopping regularly such as freeways. Not real practical for a driving test. What else did you want to use ?
@@thedrivingtestguynsw8424 Nowadays, they have, like, radar cruise that can adaptively stay behind the car in front of you, and automatically keep a 3 second gap. And also, I feel like I can use it to manage my speed more easily. You accelerate to the speed you want, like 40 or 50, press set to freeze it, and you can forget about the acceleration pedal and just focus on the brake. I feel I'd have a smaller chance of speeding with cruise control. I'm not certain about it because I haven't practiced using it excessively.
I don't know the answer whether you could use a radar cruise control. You got to understand that a driving test is to test whether you can drive or not. That includes managing speed and 3 sec gap. So on that point I would guess that radar cruise control would not be allowed for a driving test. Just like you couldn't bring an autonomous driving car to do everything for you while you just sat there.
Hey jimbo, I went for my test yesterday and got two fail items one because someone had pulled in front of me in a busy road with no signal not my fault but I’m not upset about it, and I was apparently not doing frequent headchecks, but I was headchecking almost everything, he said someone about headchecking to the left when it should be right sometimes but I’m not too sure why, could you possibly help me understand? Other than that I scored 107 so on my next attempt I should hopefully ace it, my parking was fine, he told me he was very happy with how I identified I was too late to change lanes at the round about and could no go right because of the unbroken line
Hi there sorry to hear you didnt qualify. In relation to the person that pulled out, unfortunately even though it wasnt your fault, part of the driving test is to see if you can respond to hazards that are outside of your control. This is what will happen in real life so thats what they are testing. Alot of tests dont actually have random hazards happen so that testing applicant gets an easy test. Its just how it is. So work on hazards, keep the space with cars you are following and check side to side and pre empt hazards that may be hidden like behind a parked truck. With the head checks, you may have been head checking everywhere just not the places that are marked. It only takes 3 missed head check to give you the F19 fail. So may have to be more particular where you are head checking. Hopefully next time all will be well. Best of luck :)
If it's not safe then you cannot change lanes. However from my experience someone will always let you in if you keep your signal on. You just need to be good at changing lanes when busy reading when someone is letting you in. In an extreme case where you cannot change lanes to make a turn , then you just keep driving straight and the examiner will try and get you back on course. If they cannot then your test will be cancelled.
Hey Jimbo, thank you for your videos. Unfortunately I haven’t pass my test and I have a question about the feedbacks. My testing officer said that I failed because: 1: I didn’t left the gear on + the hand brake when I parked ( I did only the handbrake) and in the last parking the car roll just a few cm and I realised that the hand brake was not fully up and I corrected it literally in within a seconds and secondly before I got to the intersection/stop I put my car in neutral while is still in motion ( less than a meter) because otherwise my manual car couldn’t make it in a really low gear till the end and she said that is bad habit which I can understand but is a reason to fail? And I also asked if can take notes about what she was saying and she saying that she wrote down and when I check not any of the things that she said to me where in the sheet.. only noun as “not control of the vehicle”
Hi mate sorry you didn't pass. Yes in manual make sure the handbrake is tight when parking and finish in 1ST. If you finish in 1st the car won't roll if the handbrake is not right. Also rolling in neutral will give you an F8 (not in control). You actually were in control but they deem rolling in neutral not in control and give you a F8. Sux. When you slow down , shift down and bring the clutch up each time. If you are coming to a stop leave 2nd in as long as you can and then just before stopping put the clutch in and leave down and put into 1ST. I will do a video on manual sometime this year.
