    You seem very ordinary and first timers,

    Why didn’t you sand blast the yellow steel frame before you welded it up ?

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you!! We have to sandblast a bunch of other parts of the entrance structure so we figured we would do it all at the same time.

    Quick ?:: how often do you have to change the blade on the grinder? Can you estimate how many were needed throughout the whole project? I have no idea if it’s like 40 or 400?? 🤔🧐🤓

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  7 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on the thickness of steel we are cutting. The thicker the steel, the more often we have to change the blades. To cut out a few panels of the containers, we used about 4-5, so at this point we probably used A LOT.

    You should have used an " Oscillating tool" instead of the file to get the Cement off . It's like a file with teeth and moves at about 12,000 rpm .

    Yo Jessica, today is of course not the first time I have noticed that you use a Vulcan welder. What is you honest assessment of the unit? I am thinking of getting into some welding projects, and while I will never be greatest at it, I do not want to spring for a Miller or equivalent model that I learned on. You use the hell out of that and your other HF model, so I know you are familiar with the pros and cons. What is your take.

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  8 месяцев назад +2

      I absolutely love the Vulcan Omnipro 220. I've used it for so many projects! It's great for the price and the fact that it's a multi process machine makes it really versatile. I highly recommend purchasing the extended warranty through Harbor Freight. think I will do an in depth video about this subject in the future so keep an eye out for that! :)

  • @mkllove

    I was literally saying to myself "Why not use a chisel to free that concrete stuck on the steel ?" ...when you did ! Hmmmh tell me if you're getting an appetite for a Baltimore Style smoked pit beef sandwich with sliced onion and horsey sauce... ?
    Wondering if you'll use any of that big black steel frontage to decorate ? Maybe ask viewers for some (stress suitable ideas, better offer guidelines or you'll regret it !) artwork submissions ie a logo variation, or your faces on a big scale, maybe bears, deer or other critters seen on your newest beach cam ? Maybe paint in some trees to camouflage your property ?

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  8 месяцев назад

      Lol that sounds pretty good! I'm not sure about the decor yet but we will probably use a few of our panels

  • @khopper8262
    @khopper8262 2 месяца назад

    You must be building where U get no snow ,frost or cold .I notice U are basically building a steel house with no thermal breaks in the steel which would allow for transfer of frost from outside to interior steel surfaces .AlsoI know its early in the build but I see no insulation inside hollow steel beams or walls. Condensation,cold and frost transfer could be a big prob. in your future .Wishing U well

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  2 месяца назад

      Yes you are right, we will be installing insulation and taking the cold into account... we just haven't gotten to that step yet :)

    • @khopper8262
      @khopper8262 2 месяца назад

      @PacificPinesRanch I'll try to explain..Any where U have continuous metal from Outside to Inside without a thermal break such as a strip of wood or plastic inserted where a strip has been cut out of the steel U are going to get transfer of frost from outside to the interior surface which is then going to melt and create all kinds of water problems inside..Take a look at manufactured steel or metal windows and doors and U will see they all have some kind of thermal break in the metal separating the outside and interior surfaces..U can correct this prob .now but not once all your doors and windows are installed. Only concerned U are making big mistake which is going to cause big problems in future....good luck

    Good Day ............I am seeing a vision ; I am slightly clairvoyant , up to 3 or 4 times per year . The last time we spoke half a year ago , I think you remember when I said "What You Need Is A Nice Little Girl" , remember ? Just slightly into this new year , every 4 weeks or so it becomes a little clearer , a little more pronounced . I now see a happy vision of yourself as a mother walking two pretty little girls through the forest early in the morning . Their little faces are happy ! Do you feel it ? Now , hhmmm , two little girls saying Mummy Mummy , Mummy . I think ah , you need to do something . Bye Bye for now . Have a good one .

    Mark 4:26-29
    King James Version
    26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
    27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
    28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
    29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. Gods blessings over you .
