Ever since I’ve bought this I haven’t run an HvZ without it on my hip. I love it so much. It is a life saver. It is also really fun to run by itself too for an extra challenge.
It’s one I have wanted to get. I tried one. It’s well built and compact and simple. Overall a great deal for the price

You don’t need to upgrade the switch for that battery or put in a mosfett unless you make it dual stage. That battery is made for this blaster.

I wanted to like the hurricane but I could never convince myself to buy one.
When I modded mine to your same specs, stock cage and wheels, glued worker barrel, 3s LiPo my blaster became incredibly loud to the point I need earplugs to use it comfortably. I just didn't install a mosfet since someone in the comments said you didn't need one. Do you think installing a mosfet would make this blaster much quieter than it is now?

I'd love to see a video that troubleshoots the mag adaptor. It seems that because the trigger mechanism operates as a sort of "catapult" which levers up, catches the back of the dart and moves it into the fly wheels (as opposed to a back and forth pusher) the lever gets caught on the return motion of the action...so it gets stuck beneath the next dart in the mag. Might be able to remove the mags spring to make it gravity fed, but then the mag is limited. or, shaving down the trigger lever...but I'm afraid that'll make it inoperable!
Also, taboo though they may be, LifePo batteries like the Coolooks or Tenergy work nicely.

I've never had any of mine jam up that way. Curious if you may have gotten a defective one.
And yeah, IFRs work nicely in them.

My general rule of thumb is that side arms should hit 130 max. HvZ levels. This allows you to be able to have more flexibility in games, bring them to more games, without worry. Oh is this side arm low enough? Is it strong enough? I've been hit with a 300+ blaster at point blank, 400+, and even pushing to 500fps. IT'S NOT FUN. Save it for airsoft or paintball. Don't be THAT guy.
But yea, a good primary will get you through 90% if not more of a game. Your secondary is just that, your primary is down, you need to reload. Something. And then you can still take your side arm/side arms to lower fps games with no issue and they're as reliable as ever. So, 100-110fps revolver is great. Plus revolvers are better for top loading when you're in the middle of a game anyway.
Debating between this or the ultra 2 elite dart mod, I've tried the ultra 2 before, there's not a lot of room for 2s or 3s wire, and you have to force a switch in there etc etc. It's not fun. I'm tired of modding. lmao
