It doesn't matter how old your child is - if they're in school, they should have access to age-appropriate books. But that's not what happened in this case. Dad was livid when he found out his 10-year-old son was reading mature books from the school library. We show you how he gets shut down by the school board for speaking the truth and standing up for what is right!

I’m 22 years old and I grew up with a innocent childhood. I still feel young but I now know dignity and respect. I feel bad for these kids that are being taught this at such a early age. I only knew about such things when I was in high school not when I was 5-10 years old.

Homeschooling has been a great blessing so far. Not spending money on vacations, material possessions, etc and having me work only has been a great blessing for all of us. We all enjoy it, my wife loves it, and so do our kids. I’m a Pastor, work full time and have 3 kids. You can do it, God will help you!

High probability most of the school board knew the book by title only, and perhaps reputation within a certain community, but knew nothing of its contents. Doesn't excuse it since its their job to know but given how much they have to deal with, I have no problem believing they didn't know. That being said, if they refused to remove said book(s) after being made aware, then we know where they stand don't we?
Everybody - write to the White House, your senators, your congressman, your state legislatures. Don't be too surprised if you get back the typical 'diversity' form letter. But tell them if you're going vote for them. Pay attention to your school boards. Make your voice heard.

I'm a Muslim living in Europe. My 9 year old brought home a similar book from his school library. Since there are no high quality Muslim private schools around here, I now send him to a Christian private school. Best decision. Some Muslims may argue that now my son will become Christian... no, I grew up in Europe where there were very few, almost no immigrants and Christianity and Bible studies were part of the public school schedule. It didn't turn me into a Christian because my parents were very clear on teaching me the differences in our faiths and why we were Muslim. I'm doing the same with my son and leave the rest to Allah.

This is happening in my area and one parent has made it her mission to find all these disgusting perversed books! She found it in one of the elementary schools. I had to take my ypungest son out of public school this year and hopefully will be ok in a christian school. Nothing is perfect in this world and things can still happen anywhere. We all need to keep praying for our children and their future.

I'm working at a Swedish school, and I'm stunned at what I hear in this video! Thank god my kids don't have to suffer in schools like this.
Granted, our school system is not perfect, but this is 1000x worse than whatever mistake we have made, and at least we own up to our mistakes and do better. I hope parents will listen to your advice and move their kids to private schools, but don't just take any private schools but also look them up before you commiting.

As a public school teacher and Christian, I agree with all of these points. I would also advise parent to please have these conversations with your children. I have met so many parents that have no idea what their children watch on social media, nor read until something happens. Communication is key, in Proverbs we are told to train our children in the way we should go, so that they won't depart from it. In my classroom I am open about my faith and my students are more that welcome to ask for prayer, but at the same time it is so important to have these conversations at home.
What I see nowadays is that parents are so tired from their jobs (two working parents) that by the time they get home neither wants to really deal with the negative of parenting. They just let the kids do whatever and only want to hear the good things, because otherwise their entire life would revolve around a constant fighting scenario.
Another issue pushed by the governement is the unfair wages and product cost of things normal citizen require to live, build and maintain a society.
I don't even have kids and I'm already run ragged.

Since giving my life to Jesus so many areas of my life have been better, but of course it also comes with trust and sacrifice.
With parents that I see are struggling because of multiple jobs and ask if I can pray for them and speak to them about how Jesus changed my life. I may not see the result right now, but at least the seed has been planted.
But Christianity allows homosexuality in some churchs and even marry them so even christaian schools are not the place to be
Isaiah I am disgusted by what I heard that it was in a school library. They didn’t want him to say what was in the book! But it’s okay for a 10 yr old to see this? Crazy! I say get all kids out of the public schools! How do they think it’s okay? 😢

I'm thank God this didn't happen when I was 10 because I was such a bookworm back then. I feel awful for the innocent kids who are at risk of this evil.
I got a little cousin whose 10 months and her parents plan on sending her to public school and after everything thats going on in this messed up world, I'd hate to imagine anything like that happening to her. She's my light in this lost world and I'd do anything to keep her safe.❤ I'm willing to fight with her parents to see if she could go to a private Christian school at least until high/middle school so by then she would have strong faith to guide her.

Hearing that book made me nauseated af, this is so disgusting that this is even in school. I feel so bad for what kids now a days are gonna be going through. I took my son out of school and kept him out since Covid. Glad I did.

I found something similar, and just as evil in my son‘s backpack that he got from the school library in seventh grade. When I went to the principal about it and typed out passages, they said to me… You’re the only parent who’s ever complained about a book! I actually don’t believe them but parents have got to speak out.
@Carol Hale, speaking out won’t cut it. But if there’s large amount of people protesting on city streets, their voices will be heard. Media will show up.
Try to reach out to other parents of the school, make them aware of it and check for their reaction. If they react the same way you are then you're vindicated 100%

Not just the US these books are in Canadian Schools as well and being shown to children as young as 5-6.
Here in Canada, parents aren’t even being allowed to attend the school board meetings, because of this contact, The school board knows the parents are complaining.
But the unfortunate thing is, this stuff is not just happening in Public Schools it’s happening in Catholic Schools as well.
