- HWPO Athletes hit a day of training in the HWPO HQ gym. Watch as the practice some new skills, banter, lift, banter, train, drill technique, review the tapes and then hit a 40:00 EMOM together. Katrin Daivdsdottir and Amanda Barnhart join the HWPO Training team and add to the existing HARDWORKING team in VT with Mal O'Brien (and Jayson Hopper). Watch glimpse of this group of HARD WORKERS as they tackle a day of training.

It"s awesome to see veterans like Katrin and Amanda still are open and eager to learn from Mat. You're never done learning and becoming better! Mat still had great shape, bet he could podium or win the games if he decided to make a comeback. Btw, video was way too short.

What a amazing team, thank you each and every one for the motivation. Its like watching cross fit games now. Seeing all of u together. if there any work opportunity please give a job with u all. It would be a dream job being around such amazing people.

Wow! I love to see the coaching and all those great athletes share the floor and learn from each other but just the music and the video, that was absolutely perfect. This is a serious quality training group. Anyone that could not feed off that energy would have to be in a coma. Looking forward to seeing how they all do in the upcoming season!

That grouping of individuals looks so scary for Tia because each of them can beat her in some way if they are truly at their full potential. Can't wait to see what they debut at the games
Super weird comparison but I equate Tia to a Brian Shaw type of competitor. EXTREMELY well rounded and typically above average at everything they do.
Such consistency across the board keeps her at the top or near the top in any comp. Hard to unseat someone like that without them absolutely flubbing an event.
I mean it's no secret Tia is hurt a victory over her next year wouldn't seem like they competed against the best in her prime...

I wonder how much resentment there might be...Mat sharing his wisdom with the competition. I mean, isn't it a conflict of interest? Granted, each athlete has to do the work, and the gains come when you're not working out, but I'd still wonder about that if I were paying the fat loot for the coaching.
We don’t pay our athletes and they don’t pay us. These girls are now on the HWPO Training team. No one outside the team gets this kind of one-on-one.

Just curious from a business perspective how does HWPO financially profit from training and provisions such as the various coaches, food ect. for the team if the athletes don't pay? Does this come from prize purse winnings, as it is still a small business in the grand scheme of things right? Fellow engineer here Matt so happy to see how you structured this. Thanks for the video!
