I ordered 12 bottles from Oil Perfumery, scents profiles from Portrait of a Lady to Adventus to other niche and designer fragrances. ALL I have to say is the QUALITY and scent profiles of the oils are AMAZING! I am so glad I took a chance especially since they are way affordable compared to the niche/designer products. They're fantastic: they project and perform more than some of their spray counterparts.

I have to give Oil Perfumery a try. I remember I had some Tom Ford Neroli Portofino oil. It was spot on. And the performance was amazing compared to the Neroli Portofino fragrance itself which doesn’t really last after four hours.
Alot of folks sleep on oils because it's not hyped as much as the sprays but before the fragrance community became popular, oils have been in the game. I wear them both. You can use the oil as the base then spray on top of it. I don't sleep on it.
The issue with most oil is that they seem to dry down to that same exact base scent at least they used to.. basically they all dry down to a generic laundry detergent type smell. I used to hate that.
I can dig it. I usually buy from a couple off seller's on eBay if not from the flea market. I try to stick with the sellers who carry that good stuff that's alcohol free(uncut).
@@C.J.3 hahah nice getting them shits b4 their all "STEPPEDON" hahah. Yea n I'm from philly area so u know I messed around heavy with the street oils in the early 2000s. They certainly have come a long way though bc I was in Nantuket last year and this store (nantuketperfumeco) n the oils seemed to be of very high quality.. they were very pricey from what I was used to but the quality was far beyond what I was used to as well. Got one called Athena smells similar to Angel for women with kind of a cigar tabacco ashy type accord in it.. I love it and it doesn't have a generic dry down so yea there are good ones out there for sure now.

Folks are turning their noses up towards oils because their favorite fragrance reviewer told them not to wear it anymore and so their attitude concerning oils have done a huge transformation. It blew my mind to see J Copeland talking about oils because alot of these cats are stuck on niche, niche, niche... And there's nothing wrong with that; I'm not knocking anyone reviewing niches/designers but don't forget about where you started from from. You have to show the fragrance oils some love too but hey... I guess everybody is different. It's no biggie😋
I really appreciate this video, because I have 6 of their fragrances. I love to wear them when I want something closer to the skin, as well as something very long lasting.
Oils in general do not really project, as they're much more concentrated and heavier than EDT or even EDP sprays. They do tend to leave a nice scent trail though.
I own Roja's Amber Aoud Crystal and Oil Perfumery's impression. They are close on first application. On the dry down the real scent stays very floral and fresh. The oil impression is much heavier with more of an incense vibe. Still a great smelling fragrance, though, and wears well on hot days. I will be giving oil perfumery another shot in the near future.
in regards to fragrance oils, since you've experienced both brands, do you think Zoha Aroma has the better clones or Oil Perfumery? I've been thinking about which brand to purchase from and since they are so similar in price and they both have a wide selection of clones, it's hard to tell which brand I should actually go for. I would heavily appreciate it if you'd shed some light on this 🙏🙏

I am no fan of Sauvage either due to the disgusting dry down or next morning smell. I gifted a full 100ml bottle to a complete stranger at my apartment complex just to get it away from me.
I have close to 100 oils from Oil Perfumery and I've made videos reviewing some them but my wife recently had a baby and I had to put the channel on the back burner. I wear nothing but oils they have the same sillage and projection as sprays and i get the top, middle and base notes from all the oils idk why alot of ya fragrance enthusiast say you don’t get all the notes from oils but that is not true, i only go to one spot here where im from called United Roots and when it comes to copying a designer fragrance they have it down packed and their oils are a more pure scent then the sprays that have alcohol and i know my fragrances its the best place to get oils from for me

I like frag oil but I wont be buying frag oil from from oil perfumery. $16-22 for 10ml roll-on. Thats $44-66 per ounce. Hypothetically, 3.4 oz bottle of oil will cost $154- $232. Might as well buy the real deal nitch fragrance instead of buying an impression oil for the same price or more. I can spend the same $16-$22 and just buy 1ml-5ml samples of the real stuff to test. Just buy the full bottles of stuff I like. For $232 you can get a real bottle of Creed or Bond no.9 depending where you search.

I bought a perfume oil, not from this company, of an imitation of Tom Ford fougere d’argent and it was really good. Not gonna say it was 99% close or anything like that but it scratched the itch for a nice dark green fragrance. Interested in trying out more oils like these
Depends on the oil, but definitely doesn't take nearly as much. I might do a couple swipes on each side of my neck, and maybe 1-2 or each wrist. Depending on some oils, all of that may even be too much. lol
How do we feel about oils in hindsight? I get that they smell like the originals. My question is why do I spend $300+ instead? ( which is what I’m currently doing and always have done lol ) Is this like the cheapy ones in a beauty supply 😹or is this a “quality” take on original fragrances?
Hey Kelly. A very thoughtful question. I suppose it depends on who we’re asking. Everyone has different views on clone fragrances, whether in spray form or oil form. All we can do is get our nose on them and if we really enjoy them, then so be it. If you find more pleasure in the quality of the originals (and wanna spend that money for them), no shame! 😉
Excellent variety on content. I don’t personally like the feeling of the oils. Especially in the heat. But I’m sure they can make a great base as someone mentioned. Something tells me you may be able to dilute these into some perfumers alcohol and create some “inspired expressions” of your own 😉 Stay fresh

I never knew there were trusted oil clones of these fragrances out there. You know cats on the street will slap a label on anything and try to convince you their version of Creed Aventus does not smell like Lemon Fresh Ajax dish soap! 🤦🏾♂️
Great video, something different. If you have the actual fragrance for these oils, it’ll be a good idea to apply the oil on yourself, then spray over it with the actual fragrance, surely you’ll get longer longevity and projection.

With the oil, is it more of a skin scent or can you really smell it like you would from a spray cologne?

Fragrance oils are very effective. I've tried a few oils from this brand a while back. I think that I got some impressions from the MFK line.

How far do these project? Also which house would you suggest, Oil Perfumery or Zoha?
Oils don’t project from tire skin as much as fine fragrances. They do tend to last longer and leave a stronger trail (sillage) though.

Glad I saw this video ...i had some that I wanted to sample and the price of the samples were about the same as the oil ..got Baccarat rouge and grand soir and byredo 11th hour and frederic malle monsieur....I'm really impressed with how good they sell and how long they last

Anyone have any idea how these oils are made? Do they use coconut oil? Do they add some of the real colognes to the oil? Do they mix their own notes?

Started following your channel a few months back for the colonge reviews and stumbled across your scented oil reviews today by accident. I never knew there were trusted oil clones of these fragrances out there. You know cats on the street will slap a label on anything and try to convince you their version of Creed Aventus does not smell like Lemon Fresh Ajax dish soap! 🤦🏾♂️

Great video, something different. If you have the actual fragrance for these oils, it’ll be a good idea to apply the oil on yourself, then spray over it with the actual fragrance, surely you’ll get longer longevity and projection.
