Thanks for joining me on the channel, I hope you enjoy & find it useful. The heating system had been working so smoothly since having a new boiler fitted a couple of years ago, until it started to get a mind of its own…

Blimey just saved the day , I’ve just returned from holiday to find the house like a sauna , the system was calling for heat even after switching off on the controller and the remote thermostat . The problem was that the heating valve had stuck on ! Thanks again

Will you DIY change the valve. I managed to change my motorised valve. Just plan what you need to do and take your time.

Hi, did you manage to sort your issue in the end? We're having the same problem

I have this problem with mine Dick, during the summer there is only hot water on, when it comes to winter I find the valve is stuck, like yours. I wiggle it like you did but it takes a few days of use with both HW and CH in use before it truly starts to work as it should. Mind you this coming winter I possibly won't have the heating on much!

How much would it cost to have the valve replaced?
