This will be another tough game to watch. I’ve read alot of comments stating the person is not watching the Fever any longer. I am going to continue watching the Fever because as hard as it is to watch for fans, I can’t imagine how hard it is for SOME of the players on the team. I will enjoy seeing those logo threes and passes. I will enjoy watching some magic happen between AB and CC . They haven’t quit and neither will I. Hopefully tomorrow while they play a team with many seasoned players these professionals will be a mentor.
Sparks had more rebounds than Mercury, last game. Most of their points are in the paint 3 to 12 feet from the basket. Some are 15 to 18 feet away. And, some from 3- pointer's. Lots of turnovers. Taurasi like 3- pointer's, last game . - Mike
And every time Caitlin Clark is interviewed, I hang on to every word she says. I learn a lot from her of what the WNBA and women's basketball is and what a talented professional undergoes. I do not know if I am the only one feeling this but my love and adoration for her continuously grow every time she speaks and plays. #iloveCaitlinClark.

In every other pro sport, prior to games, players compliment the opposition, say they are focused only on that game, even if the other team is terrible. They don't want to get the opposition fired up. Trash talking in the game is fine. Before the game, it will give the other team motivation to destroy you in the game. Perfect example - before Iowa Uconn, Geno said "forget i ever said Paige is the best player in college. It's Clark. I don't want her scoring 50 on us."
Sides has never been a head coach until last year. She has always been a assistant coach and from the looks of things she never took notes or paid attention to how the head coach was coaching or what they did. Sides isn't qualified to coach a middle school team let alone a wnba team!!!!!!!!!!!! Olympic break would be a good time for a new coach to take over and work with the team!!!

I am starting to think #1 draft picks should really analyze the organizations they are going to and consider turning down offers from basement-dwelling teams. If you are really good at what you do, no sense going through a meat grinder, which I think Clark has been through. I feel sorry for her. She needs at least an average quality coach with some veterans who will take her under their wing and help her out. The Fever got their butts burned off against Seattle and I am afraid these next couple of games is just going to be rinse-wash-repeat. Coach has no ability to change. And waiving Celeste Taylor, a defense specialist, when your team defense is in the garbage dump, is a totally moronic.
She is signed to play for Indiana for 4 years. It's not like she can decide to play elsewhere next season. Vegas doesn't need her. Once Sides is gone hopefully they will hire a coach who will run the offense through her and utilize her talents. Mitchell and Wheeler will be free agents after the season and those are two ballhogs we will not miss.

@@brianrobinson4710 Katie Lou gives you rebounds and defends better as a 3 foward than Wallace by a lot. I wouldn't put Smith but Temi got hurt again so it is the best we got. Hull is a better defender than Mitchell, Wheeler and Wallace. So I am not saying it is the all defensive team, but it is the best Clark has to play as a team, defend a little and be a greater offensive threat.
A year ago the Phoenix Mercury finished with the W's worst record at 9-31 and many speculated that they were "tanking for Caitlin." Hypothetically, would Caitlin Clark HAD stayed at Iowa for a 5th season which she still had due to the covid-19 waiver instead of being drafted number one by Phoenix. We will never know! Many Phoenix fans said had they got the first pick in 2024, it would've been the perfect way for Diana Taurasi to ride off into the sunset and pass the torch as the face of the Mercury franchise to Caitlin Clark.

The Fever have had a losing culture for many years and they were led by Kelsey Mitchell. She was the leading scorer on every team for the past several years...none of the teams made the playoffs. That losing culture is almost impossible to change unless you do a total overhaul of the main personnel who were responsible for perpetuating it. If they stay, that losing mentality is like bacteria; it will continue to fester and grow. This is true in the corporate world and it's true in the sports world.

In every other pro sport, prior to games, players compliment the opposition, say they are focused only on that game, even if the other team is terrible. They don't want to get the opposition fired up. Trash talking in the game is fine. Before the game, it will give the other team motivation to destroy you in the game. Perfect example - before Iowa Uconn, Geno said "forget i ever said Paige is the best player in college. It's Clark. I don't want her scoring 50 on us."
Sides has never been a head coach until last year. She has always been a assistant coach and from the looks of things she never took notes or paid attention to how the head coach was coaching or what they did. Sides isn't qualified to coach a middle school team let alone a wnba team!!!!!!!!!!!! Olympic break would be a good time for a new coach to take over and work with the team!!!

Caitlin, go to a better organisation and team with a competent coach. You won't be happy there. no team spirit like in LV. The other players are jealous and against you. It's a disaster. The coach isn't able to protect you and position you correctly. Now they're also sending Celeste Taylor away, the best defensive guard and no. 1 draft What a bad coach. It doesn't get any dumber than this. LVA with Kate Martin show how to do it right! Especially how players and coaches interact and communicate with each other! Exemplary! Please fire this coach and the GM!
I am starting to think #1 draft picks should really analyze the organizations they are going to and consider turning down offers from basement-dwelling teams. If you are really good at what you do, no sense going through a meat grinder, which I think Clark has been through. I feel sorry for her. She needs at least an average quality coach with some veterans who will take her under their wing and help her out. The Fever got their butts burned off against Seattle and I am afraid these next couple of games is just going to be rinse-wash-repeat. Coach has no ability to change. And waiving Celeste Taylor, a defense specialist, when your team defense is in the garbage dump, is a totally moronic.
She is signed to play for Indiana for 4 years. It's not like she can decide to play elsewhere next season. Vegas doesn't need her. Once Sides is gone hopefully they will hire a coach who will run the offense through her and utilize her talents. Mitchell and Wheeler will be free agents after the season and those are two ballhogs we will not miss.

Las Vegas is a good example. They don't win every game at the moment either, but they treat each other very differently and don't dismantle their colleagues. Caitlin's interview is why she is so loved by her fans!! Always gives praise to veteran stars of the league even at times when they themselves don't reciprocate praise. She stands head and shoulders above all in her tactfulness, respect for the game, grace, maturity. She is tremendous role model for young girls and boys who adore her!! A fabulous ambassador for the game and league. Shout out to the future GOAT!!!

@@brianrobinson4710 Katie Lou gives you rebounds and defends better as a 3 foward than Wallace by a lot. I wouldn't put Smith but Temi got hurt again so it is the best we got. Hull is a better defender than Mitchell, Wheeler and Wallace. So I am not saying it is the all defensive team, but it is the best Clark has to play as a team, defend a little and be a greater offensive threat.

A year ago the Phoenix Mercury finished with the W's worst record at 9-31 and many speculated that they were "tanking for Caitlin."
Hypothetically, would Caitlin Clark HAD stayed at Iowa for a 5th season which she still had due to the covid-19 waiver instead of being drafted number one by Phoenix. We will never know!
Many Phoenix fans said had they got the first pick in 2024, it would've been the perfect way for Diana Taurasi to ride off into the sunset and pass the torch as the face of the Mercury franchise to Caitlin Clark.

I have seen Sides in the sidelines she says be aggressive and do better. That's not what a Head Coach does. They have to point out mistakes they are making and ask them to correct it. Sides not competent. She has to go watch film to make adjustments. She is not Head Coach material.

My question is this I read with new W rule teams can waive 2 players for media during practice. As much as I love Caitlin. Why continue to have her due media as much as she does? Give her opportunity to practice and build team bonding.

The attention, commercial success, the potential, the uplift, these were all dragged into the wnba overnight when CC got into the league. Imagine having a coach who gets asked about you and your performance so far and she keeps talking in circles about the team unwilling to give you one single compliment and an actual analysis of your performance 🤦

Sides needs to stop setting up plays for Wallace and start setting up plays for Clark. Have a plan B and make adjustments during the game. If you have to go watch film to make the necessary adjustments then you are not competent enough for Head Coach position.

The Fever have had a losing culture for many years and they were led by Kelsey Mitchell. She was the leading scorer on every team for the past several years...none of the teams made the playoffs. That losing culture is almost impossible to change unless you do a total overhaul of the main personnel who were responsible for perpetuating it. If they stay, that losing mentality is like bacteria; it will continue to fester and grow. This is true in the corporate world and it's true in the sports world.
NO Wheeler or Thompson and Clark QB is how Fever wins. Duh. Also, FIRE SIDES.
