It's incredible how many behind the scenes details there are that don't show on TV, like the staff member hooking the leashes on the pole, the dancer that needs to take off the wire off the crate door who failed to do that in the grand final, and the dancers taking off each other's leashes off their backs
This just reminds us of how much Eurovision is television-oriented rather than it being wholly about the live experience (sounds nuh duh, but until you see go there and see it for yourself, you don't understand the whole deal).

@@Tkachao1 I was curious too! I could definitely tell that the dancer tried to do something to it and that Käärijä didn't expect to find it on his path, but now I get he was simply supposed to take it off the door but it didn't come off. Luckily Käärijä dodged it pretty easily so it didn't cause much of a problem.
@@KaleunMaender77 Definitely. Last year for example, the first part of Armenia's Snap performance must've been very boring for the audience in the arena who couldn't see what was happening haha. Or 2021's Greece one with the green screens and green suits 💀😭

So wait, there were still jury shows for the semi's, even though juries didn't vote in them? What was the point? Just curious if anyone knows
That way the jury can see if they have improved or worsen in the finale (I think).
The point is rehearsals. There are three rehearsals for each show officially named Dress Rehearsal 1-3. Jury Show was the more “user-friendly” name for Dress Rehearsal 2, as it was shown to the juries.
This year the “jury show” name was dropped for “Evening Preview” but most people still know them by their old name so I deemed that it was better using that.
Juries still voted on these for the small chance that televoting in a country would not work or something
