Thank you for this thorough review with many test subjects. I was on the fence about getting this lens for field identification of bugs and plants since I already carry a Carson 7x magnifying glass. The clarity displayed in this video is significantly better than I expected!
I got one of these 10X BelOMO loupes, and I like it so much that I ordered a second one for a backup. Blows my old cheaper loupes out of the water. Apparently BelOMO and Zeiss work together with agreements and BelOMO uses Zeiss machinery. I also bought the lanyard for my one BelOMO and the little leather case for my second BelOMO. Both are 10x Great loupes. Can’t go wrong. Apparently a lot of professional jewellers and professional geologists and other scientists like the BelOMO also. 👍🏼
p.s. Worth every dime and far better than even German Zeiss counterparts at 3x the cost. The paperwork included is the individual test certificate from the factory.
@@starastronomer I ended up ordering two KITE ones instead, heard they where good too, but to be perfectly honest, the knockoff "Triplet" I bought for like 3$ the first time around is working perfectly adequately so far, haha.
I have one. Superb optical clarity edge to edge, no color fringing. Feels like mil-spec construction.👍👍👍

I wonder if there is a loupe out there with this level of clarity/quality with built in LED light

Not carried by Amazon anymore. Company is in Belarus which is under sanctions for aiding Russia in the invasion of Ukraine.
@irvkettering1752 Interesting, thanks for the update.
