So beautiful! I have turquoise but rarely use it. This combo of it turquoise and burnt sienna is gorgeous, especially with the glazing. Thanks for the inspiration.
I have several different turquoise colors and I adore them! This is lovely, Lois - the foreground is especially beautiful. I liked hearing about glazing and transparency - things I have been reading about and trying to learn about! Thank you!
I really love the use of turquoise. This painting is so exquisitely misty and dreamy. The salt effect is just wonderful,, one that I am striving to perfect. I do not have Windsor and Newton turquoise, but I do have Daniel Smith. I am going to give this a try and see if I can emulate the same effect with my burnt sienna. Wish me luck!👩🦳🖌️
Absolutely amazing effect you have created Lois in this landscape scene, greatly enjoyed the process to you explaining how to plan the process and get depth detail and brilliant choices of colours. Thanks greatly Lois for your inspirational video
Hello I love this painting! I have " turquoise of phtalo" and I forget to use it.... What is the name of the brush you use for the branches. They are so beautiful ! Thanks to share.
The use of that turquoise has really enhanced what would have been winter scene. In my eyes it could either be summer or winter, regardless of the naked trees. I've just seen the very nasty result coming from a truck accident in Tuscan, but all views aside, what seriously struck me, were the impossible colours that were coming from the broken container. Gasses that were brighter than iodine were coming out of the fracture. First was a very bright red, and then as they chemicals mixed with the air, they changed to a dazzling yellow. I'd love to challenge any watercolourist to replicate those colours without then blending. No that's not me putting pressure on you to do that, but I'd like for you to find a news clip of this crash, so you an see what I'm talking about. Back on track, this painting, very colourful, eye catching, and really pleasing to the eye. Well, my eye anyway. Take care Lois. TTFN

Really love your work and as a beginner, appreciate all of the detail you both give us. Are all of the paints you use W&N Cotman?
Thanks, Duncan
Thanks Duncan, all these are Cotman int his one
Thank you. Do you use the W&N professional series at all?
Only the perylene green
Thank you again.
