Love the composition you established with the perspective you created. I can easily see how I can use this as inspiration to paint the desert in which I live with mountains in the distance. Thanks for sharing again.
Thanks so much Delphine, I really pleased you have noticed the general principles here that you can use for different types of landscape paintings 👍💐🎨⭐️
It looks like a finished painting to me! (Simple, yes, but lovely!) The information about perspective and distance is helpful..........I have occasionally been able to make my paintings not look flat, but definitely not consistently, so I will be referencing this demo for sure!
That really is very good. That goes in the face of your own assessment of not doing the photo justice. But I guess we'll all have our own views. But I see natural beauty represents through eyes and mind of one with a creative out look. And, as is the norm, L love it. Nice work Ma'am. TTFN
I love when you do these types of paintings, but mine never come out anything like yours. I think it would be very helpful to us if you showed the amount of paints you put on the card & the order of them. Mine came out very dark, making me think I should’ve added much less of the darker colors instead of the same amounts. Just a thought for future videos. Thanks! 😊
It was very inspiring and motivated me to make it as well so thank you! One question: you said it is not a complete/finished painting. What more would you do with it? It looks so beautifully complete even in its present state. Do share. Thanks again...
Thanks Shonar, I would slightly tweak the composition to balance it out, refine the textures a bit and build a little more depth and contrast here and there; not much but important revisions
