He's smart enough to event web shooters, spider tracers, cures for supervillain mutations, but can't get a job anywhere. Dude has like 12 love interests, but the worst dating experience. No wonder he's a comedian, comedy was invented to cope with pain.
Making the symbiote have purple highlights as opposed to the blue was peak design. Looks more alien and villainous, even tho ultimate venom isn’t an alien

Ultimate spider man is easily my favorite version of the character besides the main one. He really feels like a teenager. He’s more aggressive and impulsive like a hormonal teenager would be. He isn’t perfect and he can make mistakes but he still does his best to help people however he can.
Josh Keaton is great for 616, but perfect for Ultimate. I always imagined Rino Romano for 616. Before Bendis and Slott turned Spiderman(616) into a clown who annoys the reader just as much as the villain, the dude was genuinely funny. Spider-Man would roast his enemies while he's beating their asses. Spider-Man was always meant to be a badass who told jokes to upset his enemies and maintain psychological control over the situation. Ultimate Spider-Man is my favorite version of the character(it's a 3 way tie between him, Pre-Civil War 616, and Tobey's Spidey.). Bendis used to be good. Bagley will always be the definitive Spider-Man artist for me. If Ultimate Spider-Man didn't have his "No kill" rule, he'd bully Kingpin into suicide without even having to touch hin.
Me personally, Bagely is my fourth favorite Spider-Man artist, yet he is one of the best. My top 3 are Alex Ross, John Romita Sr, and the goat Todd McFarlane. But I feel like the guy who voiced Spider-Man in the ultimate video game IS ultimate Spider-Man. Amazing voice actor tho.

im rereading the ultimate spider-man run right now, and it has some of my favorite spider-man moments of all time. plus the art is top tier through the whole thing, and everyone talks and acts like a real person in it. lots of love to the mainline continuity, but i think marvel editorial has been fucking peter over for the last 15 years for no reason, and i grew up seeing the artwork of ultimate so it is super nostalgic. i wish bendis had even more freedom to tell a longer and more full story of peter, but it will always be top tier comics to me

We have two solutions to fix Zeb's mistakes, 1 retcon that shit, just erase everything or B do a soft reboot of Spiderman much like Ultimate Spiderman. But focus on his College years. We had enough of Highschool life. Only two things he did during his Highschool life as Spidey, meet up with other Superheroes or just dealing with common crime. His College years, he just graduated to fighting his own super Villains
