I lucked out and stole a 2004 Sentra SE-R spec v for $700 last summer. Only had 89,000 miles. I had to put a fuel pump and clutch master and slave cylinders and she’s been running great ever since. I absolutely love this car. It’s all stock but super fun to drive and easy to work on. Parts are cheap too.
Yeah I can’t stress enough to people that there are cool cars out there that you can just get and enjoy for cheap without having to break the bank. That’s awesome that you picked it up so cheap!
@@jerseyboostgarage3805 ya he had no idea what he had. Original owner. It was his GFs and she let it sit for a year after they got an old crown Vic. I lucked out.
Alright where to start, that header is no longer in production it was a 2j/hedman collab. The intake manifold is off a 2008-2012 b16 spec v. The throttle body spacer is only needed if you don’t have a b16 throttle body with a nisformance big bore adapter. The heat shield right by the alternator was made by a company called SC Customs whose also no longer around. The internals of that engine are probably a b16 crank with a gen 1 head. Valve springs and retainers were probably done. You didn’t mention a BSR kit which I bet is installed as well. Good luck with the sell but you gotta get more of your facts straight with some things. No hate just do a lil more reading into b15u it’ll help.
It wasn’t my car and honestly have no intentions of building a car like that. It sold for under 5k and IMO someone got a great deal. Sadly no one appreciates complete builds it’s why most cars that aren’t high dollar cars end up getting parted out because it’s the only way to make your money back. Great knowledge on the car I woulda never known any of that
2 videos on the Senta spaced 3 months apart...We didn't even get to hear the car or see it run. 12k is about right for all the mods. Mine should be out of the shop soon with similar setup.
To much going on with the other cars, it just wasn’t going to see the love it deserved. Unfortunately the car was supposed to be a track car but the classes it qualified for it wouldn’t have been competitive in at all. Where about’s are you located? Shoot me an email Jerseyboost973@gmail.com
I have a 2003 Nissan sentra Rtype. Three of my children gave me. It for father's day. Yes it need some work but I got it for free so why not. Ill let you know what I do with it.
Heck yeah! Listen it is a really cool fun capable car and there is still some aftermarket support so the more people build these the more that support is going to stick around!
I want to see a the Dyno. I guess 200whp. Also most effective mod for these cars is boost (300whp) with 7-8psi, around $5k. Or Vq swap, same price range, slightly less power.
Well unfortunately we won’t know the new owner drove away into the sunset yesterday. The dyno sheet said 268 to the crank and that was on pump gas. I think it was more then 200 my corrado is about 180-190 and if the Sentra had good tires it would pull on the corrado
I wish these youtubers actually filmed more content and Less of looking at their face.. Edit With the prices of Used cars nowadays that new better platform is about 15k away in price compared to that spec v with very little gain in hp stock for stock
@@jerseyboostgarage3805 hit me up i built the car from the ground up and i am going turbo soon, but there are not a lot of people putting their fate in the QR25 or in the Spec v, nissan needs to revive the sentra ser spec v starting at decent 23k that would be a boss move if they did, i basically put Joe's sons thru college (ie 2j Racing owner LOL)
Rogue intake. Header is a Hedman header, was 700 new. Cams are agressive for compression and that header. At least stage 2. Good pricing tho. Very under pricing.
I tried to price it out at the cheapest I could because I knew it would still be high. Car still needs a lot of love but is a really good starting point or find a nicer body and swap everything

You can say what you want the 12 grand was including buying a stock SER. With that being said this specific car not including the price of the car cost more then 12k to build. With that being said anyone can build a car cheaply but that’s not the point of the video….
Turbocharging is cheaper than all motor. Anyone can take a 3K turbo kit and slap it on any shitbox for more power than this car puts out. All motor NA builds are an entirely different game.
No hate but my ser in know to trash si civic and it is all motor. I don't think that's the fastest car in the world I know people that has ser hitting 10s all motor.
That car gutted with a really good driver and in great conditions is a 11 second car. I really can’t imagine an all motor Sentra being a 10 second car but hey maybe that’s the case. Not my car anymore can’t imagine a scenario where I own one again but super cool car for someone on a budget

I just snagged one with a rebuilt engine for 2k doesn’t burn any oil, with the brenbos and slotted discs. 130k miles on it best one I’ve had yet
Picking up my SER Spec V this weekend.
I hope you are enjoying it they are underrated cars

Its a altima intake or a 2nd gen spec v intake
Yeah a lot of different responses to this one
I have that intake. I believe its off of the rogue and its a lot bigger
I think I was told at the time it was a pathfinder manifold if I’m not mistaken

Those cars now sell for $2000-$6000 stock to modded

I paid 1500 for my je pistons and rods. Forged for my tc.
It varies per application but it isn’t cheap reguardless
Probably the 2J Racing intake manifold and spacer
Possibly hard to find much on these parts took awhile to even price out what I did

I say bullshit. I’ve looked into building my spec and it’s no where near 12gs and it would be turbocharged
