I wish we could have watched Courtney the whole time and seen how Roman did for her. Tears welled up in my eyes when she found the big scar from Roman's collar and harness from his rough days with his Amish family. Poor boy. They work their drafts so hard it's pitiful. I'm so happy he can live out his senior retirement in a loving and peaceful home. He will never have to worry about wearing that heavy harness and pull heavy loads ever again. Oh such a sweet horse. I just hope Rita will love him. He just wants lots of loving and attention now because he's never had it before. Thank you Lester and Jami for giving Roman a wonderful home!❤🥰❤

I started to tear up when Lester said Courtney for the win or something like that then I started to think about that deep scar in his neck and watched them take him back to the pasture. Then I remembered that I have black eye liner on me. Lol. I went shopping today with my 83 year old friend she's 4'9" she's a little spitfire too. I can't stop watching Roman and then thinking about how he had to work and have injuries to do it. No wonder he doesn't want to go near the halter. I can't wait to see Rita with him.

Only you will have to be patient because not all of Roman's fears will go away in a few weeks and some will unfortunately remain but become less severe. I know we all get down on ourselves from time but it is great to have friends and/ or family that help you get back up.
