Long ago there was a battle between a Goddess and the Vile God. The two Deities created a large quantities of weapons to battle each other. The battle was long but eventually the battle ended with both of them falling into a deep slumber awaiting to be awakened. Present day the remaining weapons (Known as Furies) used in the battle are found throughout the world and anyone who wields one is known as a Fencer. A Fencer's duty is to collect the Furies and revive the Goddess in order for them to have their wish granted. We follow Fang who one day gets hungry and decides to pick up a Fury in order to wish for food. But after finding himself in Jail he discoverer he can use Eryn's power to Fairize and Transform to gain power. He then agrees to join Eryn on the quest to obtain the rest of the Furies (Mainly for Food). Quickly the pair bump into another Fencer known as Tiara (and Qui!) and decide to join forces in order to obtain the rest of the Furies!
Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a Remake of Fairy Fencer F for PS4 that was originally released on PlayStation 3 and PC. Gameplay for this Let's Play/Walkthrough will recorded at 60 FPS. We will also be doing this series on Hard! (May drop down to Normal if it gets scary!)
Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force has much more depth in terms of story compared to the original and has two separate routes based on which Deities weapons you choose to obtain from Godly revival.

Not even a final cutscene for the finale? Experiencing that in VN mode felt just kinda anticlimactic, but budget is a budget I guess. Still props for adding a new route! :)
Also this route made me really appreciate this game over the other one. Sherman felt like a dead character in FFF, but with him having a bit more of a protagonist role in this route, it made me think we were going to fight Fang as the vile God! But in the end, Fang did get his protagonist role back and kicked Mariana's ass! It's a shame that Sherman didn't have as big of a backstory as I thought he would have. It might have grown him more as a character for me. Also seeing Harley and Galdo as bad guys was amazing! It brought light to a different character arc that I never could've imagined with the goddess route! Pippin really wasn't "bad", he was more on the wrong side of justice. But in the end, I like how this ended and I can't wait to see the Fang endings for this route, at least that's what I'm assuming exists.
Aye, glad they gave much more to Sherman in this! His change came out of nowhere before!

I really enjoyed this series. I didn't expect myself to be able to make the comeback but I did. Favorite characters from this series? I have to say Apollonius, Ethal, Vivian. I can't help it, I love them all really. I can't wait for the other episodes to come out. You know, they should do a Neptunia cross ADF game. Unless that already happened...

All well that ends well... Expect Galdo, he died.
Anyway, as I already went through this ending on another channel, I'll say my thoughts.
This was a awesome route to ADF, we got to see someone else be using the Vile God, characters getting new colors for their clothes, Sherman actually showing he can be a good guy, and still retained being funny and interesting as the Goddess Route. A shame about Galdo, but when you dig some dirt on the fact he wasn't very planned with not having any CGs or being in the FFF original opening, it makes sense. But if you want my opinion, there are several characters we can lose without feeling like it was done just to be dark and edgy as people say. Tiara's four mouth personality, seeing Fang as a president, even several of Team Fang working for Dorfia was fun too. This is the only route where I like Sherman as a character, regardless how much I hate the Sherman-sama.
now I hope we can breeze through the Goddess route because from what I've seen of the 3rd route, that needs to be a great playthrough with all the characters at their highest levels so no one dies too much.

While the characters might say that the results of the vile god shenanigans are bad, if you think about it, less of the "good" characters ended up dying. With galdo being the only causality of the party members while both ethel and appolonious died originally. And all the citizens realized that Dorfa was the super evil corporation of doom that it actually it is lol
The meaning is mostly that they hoped that sealing the Vile God would stop or negate the changes created by the awakening of the Vile God but the distortions didn't vanish. During the mid-portion of the game,when the Vile God awakens, the world is rewritten and everyone's lives and even personalities are different (like for example Ethel was a more naive girl who worked for Dorfa and not the assassin organization she originally did and Pippin was a bounty hunter who captured criminals instead of his original character that was merely a fencer who educated others of morality and conduct). The only characters who retained their former selves due to the protection of the Goddess and the Vile God were Fang, Eryn, Sherman, Tiara, Marianna and Bernard.
I do have a problem with the idea of Tiara atoning for her existance, she shouldn't need to atone for that, it's not her fault she was born that way, she didn't do anything wrong.

Twit if you speedrun the first half you can get it done in 30 mins, I know this because I have done it 8 times now, every time I do it I get a faster time
And be sure to take out 16+ swords from the vile God if you are going for the "other" new route
Oh I know, but thank ye! And still doesn't mean I have time! Have to get other stuff done as well because of the power problem

Time to spend a hundred hours this time resetting for pirates now.
I miraculously managed to beat the first game in 30 hours (for certain definitions of beat), but I doubt this one will be as cooperative....also the "final boss" of this game is going to be insanely difficult. (And require tons of grinding again)
Just a few more days and Mugen Souls Z will be alllll mine, hohoho.
