My respect for Van went up for what he did here. Good to have Feri as a member of the team officially, too.

The thing that pleases Twit most in this game is that there is NO Fishing
I love how Hassan doesn't split hairs on the situation, feri was essentially disrespectful to tribal customs, and thus, she's in need of punishment
But he does it in the most Dad way possible by letting her work with somebody trustworthy until she's ready
Poor Van. And I don't know what the Mafia and the President did, but the piss of really good Ouroboros
Kudos to Falcom for growing up and killing off characters for a more rich story; even bold enough to have the protag do it onscreen. Van can’t be a gray man if they don’t allow him to truly be one.
Yeah, especially when characters only died in Trails if they were part of another characters backstory, nameless extras, or if they were antagonists. Cold Steel III would have been way darker if those supposed "deaths" in the game were permanent. Same goes to Trails to Azure if many of the peoples severely injured near the middle of the game were killed instead.

When I leave Van's office there is a kiosk that has a radio, if you have a sound of ys 8 and I think one of the legend of heroes trails in the sky (Even though I played it years ago I still remember very well)
Poor Feri she's lost her sister and joined his Van's group
Aaaaand now Van is the first active protagonist to kill someone onscreen. I mean, Kevin did too, but not when he was a protag. Sooooo already died more people than in all five previous games.
Yeah this game has gone pretty Dark already and..well..won't say anything else because...spoilers.
Gave me some Yuri vibes from Tales of Vesperia.

Shenanigans happen and its grendel time. It is seriously giving off the vibes of the gnosis demonization thing, at this point like, its not even a coincidence anymore
The whole thing with the genese awfully sounds a lot like events of sky sc. Did they actually say the word experiment or something.
It's only chapter 1 though, is the next one gonna be in chapter 2 as well?
Curious thing is that, both times in the prologue and now agnes was here but uhh. Hmm.

So yeah uh. Prologue was one thing but is it going to be a trend that people just get offed every chapter?
So yeah the main issue I have is they're like hmm yes here's a new character
And then she's dead
And the whole scene with feri too.
I mean I'm not sure what to say, aside from the fact that falcom is being all like, its like they're doing this deliberately for some reason
The plot thickens. So the implication is each of the other genese have their own special ability, I mean for all intents they are artifacts at this point, whatever that might be.
You know now that I think about it it reminds me a lot of the rings from engage. But I guess the general idea is similar, some powerful maguffin that people want.
It's entirely possible that something might happen after we get a few more
The agnes and van contrast is a lot like estelle and joshua in a sense. Agnes is nice but I'm also kinda worried something will happen later down the line

So yeah feri. Feri is actually really curious too, but shes also grown on me really fast.
It does feel a bit weird since we literally recruited a 16 year old and now a 13 year old. Meanwhile
I mean I'm assuming all the other characters are gonna be 20+ but shrug. Still waiting around
Elaine has barely showed up at all in chap 1, but maybe thats not surprising. Maybe I'm impatient, or maybe falcom knows and they're dragging it out deliberately.
I do wonder when those groups will show up again, surely falcom isnt going to just uhh.
So yeah. I only just noticed but its part 21 and its the end of chapter 1 already
Probably one of the strangest chapter 1 in awhile, if ever. Like there was so much talking and not much else.
So yeah, aida and the rest are dead, and feri has joined us permanently, and we've gotten one genese with 6 left to go. 3 party members and 2 genese hmm.
And the grendel and what not again.
Honestly this chapter 1 feels really short, but chapter 1 is basically always the shortest chapter so I'd imagine the rest are gonna be longer. Around like maybe 20ish or more parts each
We're already at d rank, 40 of 350 points. Hmm. The other games mostly had a linear ish point system, there are 6 more genese but I cant imagine this game going to 10 chapters. CS1 had 7 chapters, so I'm assuming it'll be around 6-8, but maybe my guesses are wrong?
It's still barely the beginning though, and considering how crazy things have been so far...
7 Chapters would also line up exactly with the 6 remaining genese, assuming its one for each and something happens in the next game instead. Or it could be alternate chapters and something happens afterwards
I feel like feri's image doesnt quite convey how she is. Same could be said for the other characters I guess. It's just one image but kinda odd
I may be wrong but it just occurred to me and want your thoughts. Currently at the end of every chapter you get paid because you have a job… Rean never got paid a wage for teaching in 3!!! Just got paid for side activities… your thoughts?

Since they didnt make fun of the dusk before dawn thing, will they stop making fun of cheesy lines in general?
I have no clue why one of the things they changed in Eng version is that the Holos are WAY more loud and talk way too much, in the original it was nowhere this bad
If you want to you can actually disable the voice of Holos in combat, you can do it in the orbment > holo core menu (Think it is triangle?), there isn't like 'reduce', think it only has full / none, which kinda sucks, but honestly I don't blame anyone who turns it off
