It feels like. Like in erebonia it was really only reinford, or at least I forgor the rest. But here we havent seen much of verne yet (only a matter of time, I presume) and there's like soo many others
The whole thing about van and the bracers. I mean, van isnt really a civilian, or is he. Hmm. In other news though how long until we see more shady stuff. One chapter at a time I guess.

Its been so long that I dont quite remember. We're so used to seeing a rank bracers that its easy to forget about the others

Just started ch 3 and I'm really enjoying this game it might just be the "honeymoon phase" but I think this might be my new favorite

@@TheTwitGamer the cast is really good too especially Agnes her dynamic with van is well done especially when she went to his defense with alvis about why he charges more and how he acts.

12:32 , well that's interesting. We often use the phrase 6 ft under in the states, so this gives a clue to just how big an arge is. Assuming that coffins were burried the same relative depth then as in our history then 2 arge is equal to 6 feet. So one arge is three feet. Does anybody know how that works into metric?

She instantly became my favorite character after checking “Man in jacket”. I find his self righteously arrogant character annoying and I have no doubt that he’s gonna get himself or another hurt in the field.
That's why she is the best of the Kloe/Elie/Alisa archetype, I never was biggest fan of them (I like Kloe but Elie and Alisa not so much), Agnes tho? Instantly liked her and it only got stronger, which is really saying something, since I rarely ever like this type of characters

I'm well ahead of this point but my most pressing concern is when Van is going to have the Lightbulb Moment re Agnes...who is the SOLE HEIR to the Epstein Fortune.
@@jamesmaclennan4525 Given that her grandmother presumably vanished from the public eye for a reason I doubt she dares claim it even if there is anything to claim.
I mean, don't bracers take pay for client requests too anyway? Not sure "profiting off of people in peril" is a valid point here.
They do, but it’s not as much as Van, because they have Epstein finances and I think other governments pay them too.
I think it's a mix of Van getting his "20% higher rate" and turning happenstance encounters into paid jobs.
Like Estelle and Joshua save a bus in Zero for free since it's not an active request for example while Van turns it into one and asks them for payment.
@@joaocbcneto Well, he's running a business, which stopping to save a bus could disrupt the schedule of, not to mention the aforementioned unnecessary risk to his life. Feri also used up ammo. Taking compensation seems completely valid here. The Guild is well subsidized enough for occasional charity, but once you think about where _that_ money comes from, it's not black and white for them anymore either.
If things didn't go as smoothly and the Arkride party got wounded they would've probably asked for more just to cover medical.
