Hello Ng, i tried to use a 3mm needle on a 30cm cable and i had trouble knitting in the round,so i shortend the bamboo needle and filed the tip on a emery board to a point and that worked a treat especially the fingers,i think the needles now measure 7cm to the screw in part of the inter-changeable shaft.
