Hey, thanks! There is a version of this with subtitles, but when this came out a lot of nonmetal people reacted to it ( and were touched by it). So I decided to let you experience it the same way I did. I cried. Pretty much everyone in the premiere cried. There's this myth that metalheads are these angry big guys. But we're as emotional as anyone else. The lyrics were written by Will Ramos the lead singer, and the instrumentals are by Adam lead guitar. Adam was severely depressed when he wrote it and he channeled it into the song. They somehow caught that feeling of grief portrayed. And yeah Will has his own channel and he's a surprisingly good clean vocalist as well. Glad you enjoyed it and great reaction 👍

Also as someone else noted parts 2 and 3 deal with the worst case of grief, including self destructive behavior. Its done in the spirit of don't be that guy, lets talk about it. But it's pretty strong, be aware

He is from Texas think Austin yeah like others saying we cried Deathcore is sort of a bluesy sad genre in general soldiers dying war death of lovers type stories. Deathcore fan for sure pride themselves on being open about their feeling and emotions, takes time to understand but not impossible like other gernes certain gernes of extreme metal I don't like because of that myself. I like deep heavy emotion in my music love metalcore, deathcore black metal (often associated with hatred but you listen to the artists talk about the music they sound like hippies "The guitars are the tree, the drums out the beat of the heart of the forest the vocal is the wind.").

I think this is a beautiful song. However I’m not sure you want to go into the rest of the trilogy. If you thought this was depressing, it gets worse. I just don’t think the other videos portray how people should deal with their grief. I like the songs, but the videos are a bit much. If someone requests you watch their videos for Into The Earth or O Sleeping Dreamer, don’t react to them right before bedtime, would not recommend.
