Yup, this was a beautiful conversation. I appreciate the openness of the conversation as well as the caution to not give speech to thoughts that are not "ready", or appropriate, for whatever reason. Thanks to you, Ken, and Cory, for this great talk.

Great conversation. So many bells going off in my head also thinking about the strategic theory of John Boyd - also a fighter pilot. Much of his theory touches on observing reality, collective consciousness, etc. In particular he emphasizes the notion of “appreciation and leadership” (aka receptivity) over command and control.
Would love a follow up conversation on authority. I know it’s a topic DC Schindler is turning his attention to and also key in Polanyi’s epistemology. Like “freedom”, our attitude towards authority deeply shapes our worldview.
Regarding Jesus as both a person and “the way” (dao/tao), I couldn’t help but remember the wise men from the east in the Gospel of Matthew. Their pursuit of wisdom led them to worship the person of Jesus Christ.

Loved Cory's talk with Ted S about the Ransom trilogy. Looking forward to this.

This is crazy. Earlier I was with a group of people and we got into a discussion which just so happens to have covered quite a few topics that weirdly enough, you two are also discussing in this video 😅 and there's a video by the meaning code which also overlaps with a few things discussed here -the latest video with the guy making the tlc doc. It is almost as if God is aligning certain things in such a way that I am experiencing signs and wonders. Glad you've started posting content again, the conversations you have are quite valuable 👍 ❤
Here's a scripture that came to mind whilst listening, so I thought I would include it, as someone might need it ❤
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."- 2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV
    Around half way through,
You began to speak about death and your relationship with death. -This is a topic I am interested in having an entire conversation about because there is so much to understand and communicate and clarify, unpack and expand upon as well as complete and balance out and raise awareness about - which are very important.
It seems way more gentle and safe in a dialogue.
I do want to highlight that it is vital to develop a good relationship with God, and with life as well if not more so.
Much to say here as well.
And, I really want to have a conversation and start a conversation about mental health in order to help others to deal with issues.
It would be cool if you had a conversation with Brett Anderson, I think that could possibly turn into a beautiful ,dynamic and quality conversation with a lot of clarity.
Thanks to both of you! God bless your hearts 💕

Ken, I'm curious if you could elaborate on what you mean by Contact Epistemology. My understanding is something like the Aristotelean and Thomistic idea of Intellection in which our knowledge is formed (that word used pretty directly) by actual contact with the substantial forms of things. In this conversation, it seems to mean something more like "we learn by pushing up against the edges of things." which seems to be moving in a pretty different direction. Thanks for the conversation!

      Glad to hear from you!
Yes, this is an idea from John Vervaeke (for me) and falls in line directly with knowledge as conformity, in the ancient sense. This may have been a better way to phrase it, but personally the contact epistemology fits nicely for me as the synethesia of touch to analogue is a big part of my thinking
