129th video of my Empires of the Undergrowth gameplay.
With this video, I think I've covered almost everything in 1.0. So, I might go back to posting one video every two weeks like before to keep things more manageable.

Empires of the Undergrowth
Empires of the Undergrowth is a fast-paced ant colony strategy game. Underground you excavate your nest, construct tunnels and chambers to store resources and raise your brood, then venture above ground. Here, your ants will claim territory, gather resources and overwhelm fearsome foes.

@@Kofi_cup alright i searched it up and looked at a couple sources. they live in subterranean bivouacs so it still prob wouldn’t work in the game
Wow this is my first time watching your channel, its very cool that you can modify gene thief colonies to have your custom ant species, they should add that to vanilla.

Idea for video :gene thief vs gene theif
So you are the main erepter colony and there also a counterpart colony which is your enemy
You get all the units (including the ants that you get for new game+) except the bullet ants
2nd the counterpart gets trapjaws the 2 army ants species the slavemakers the stink ants and the mini black ants and the big headed miner and majer
Objective is to kill the counterpart colony
Sadly i just now remember that the ai cant place driver ants and the stink ants so what you can do is that you keep this idea for sometime until the ai is able to place the driver ant and the stink ants
Or what you could is use the the 2 colonys in 2 different videos
That's kinda interesting but sadly due to how the AI works, they may not be using all the ants.

Can you do a workers only challenge where you use all the workers from all colonies,challenge of your choosing

tried stink ant only challenge in imprisoned map and got killed by enemy fire ants before ı could raise the 5th stink ant
How can you play with Stink and Driver ants? I havent seen any way to select them

I've tried doing this challenge to I almost died but the enemy ants started fighting with each other.
+it is very hard to code the game to get stink ants. My game crashed 3 times before I got it to work.

Never mind, I figured it out
during some of my experiments I was able to figure out you can Combine two different colonies to make a very, albeit cursed, yet useful, colony. I did it with my main story ereptors and little black ants.
might make for an interesting video idea for Mega Chonker, you just need to experiment a little with colonies having the same ID
Video idea: 1.000.000 health sun spider vs matabele ants.
I will do the 1.000.000hp Sun spider but I'm still not sure what ant I will play
Hope we will see stink ant uber, driver ant uber or bullet ant uber. It would be interesting i think

its not the hardest thing to find out, heck i have a google document from someone that posted a video on youtube of how to do all this stuff that was recently updated, buuuuut this stuff can really break your game, but i guess that's the problem with this type of editor

yeah the stink ants are strong, there on the same level as bullet ants, where bullet ants are great against one target, stink ants are great against groups due to the area damage

Sorry, I already decided what the next video is going to be, and a recommendation would require a lot of testing to determine if it's good enough to make a video about it.

I know your secret.. but I'm probably never gonna use it cause I feel like it's gonna break my game
I really want to play as both the driver army and stink ants and maybe more if they think of going back for just the eciton army ants
they won't go back to them, they are all confirmed unplayable as complete colonies. if you want to play as them, you need to do something else.
but in general, the counterpart colony is great for trapjaws, slave makers, and army ants.
Am I missing something because I cant figure out how to play stink ants or driver ants which are featured in this video and another video.
Right now, they are not really playable. By playing them, you need to mess with the game

@@MegaChonker fun fact: green on the nest minimap means it's a worker, purple means it's a soldier, and blue means it's a protector.
So Driver ant workers don't work as workers despite it saying it
Hey buddy its me again i just have a question (if u want to respond it) how do u do the x4 times cave difficulty? because i know u use the hex editor for the stinky ant bla bla bla that doesnt matter but how do u do that? do u use cheat engine or smth?

I think it should be obvious if you watch some of his other videos, like the ones where he has Uber ants.
It took me a while to figure it out.
Wait isn't the stink ants can tunnel enemy nest using for that?
That only happens in story mode tho

@Black_ants They don't form pheromone trails. Instead, they forage alone or in small groups and release strong smelling pheromones to attract more ants if they encounter something they can't handle alone.

I can't use many different workers in 1 colony (except the driver ant worker). And there are not much different between workers too
