I had the honor to try out the early version of Tier 5. Now, I'm bringing you the first Story stage of Tier 5 with Challenge Mode on at Impossible difficulty.

Empires of the Undergrowth
Empires of the Undergrowth is a fast-paced ant colony strategy game. Underground you excavate your nest, construct tunnels and chambers to store resources and raise your brood, then venture above ground. Here, your ants will claim territory, gather resources and overwhelm fearsome foes.

This level is just beyond insanity. When that sun spider found a trail of ants, it easily found their nest, and then went rampage underneath. It's really a terrifying moment from the perspective of the ants, it's literally the freakin' Godzilla in the world of insects. Massive props to SlugDisco!

So after a long wait, the new Ants are hear, early release of the new Story and all sorts of stuff as well, And it is clear of one thing. these ants will be a new addition to the Special Gene thief colony. Continue doing amazing.
I find it interesting how the daytime music is that of The Harvest, and the Night music is Subjugation. It works well as is, but I wonder if Slug Disco plans to eventually make unique 5.x music
They said they are making 2 soundtracks , if you watch one of Boosters streams (yesterday there was one) on 5.2 there is already a custom theme
Book ends. We started taking raids from Slavemakers. Today, we are the raiders. The little time we see inside the termite nest we even see the hatching blocked marker.

It’s really interesting to see that with the medics you can have 2 of the same ant alive at once eg when one dies the next one spawns but the medics revive the one that died leading you with 2. The +whatever number is there to tell you how many extra ants you have interesting

I severely underestimated the rogue's gallery we'd have to face in tier 5... and that's saying a lot because I thought it'd be the toughest one yet.
It's pretty cool the Sun Spider digs up the nest, considering that they pretty much eradicate ant colonies in the wild.
your good at this game alot i have like 22 fomacariums maxed tho cant wait for this level ill beat on impposible with challnge mode

not gonna lie, whit out the level's original soundtrack, the level feels a bit rough around the edges. I mean hey, its early access, it has some polishing to go

you've already done the level but i heard a simpler strat was to use anasthetist, get around 19 to level 3, and about 40 tiles worth of level 1 matabele soldiers. the anasthetist physical damage debuff on sting towards titans apparently shreds them really badly.

It depends on the objective. For fighting other ants, I prefer Fast responder. For big enemies like titan and Uber, I prefer Anesthetist
I can never get passed the centipede
There are many players also have problem with the centipede. It required some effort to take it down
What happens if you kill the sun spider before it comes to the nest?
You can't kill it until it's in the nest

Đơn giản là nó có tụi medic. Tụi đó sẽ hồi sinh mấy con kiến chết bằng cách mang xác về dưỡng. Tụi kiến đã hồi sinh thì không dc hồi sinh nữa.
