- ANOTHER TIER 5 STAGE WITH DRIVER ANT AND STINK ANT
123th video of my Empires of the Undergrowth gameplay.
Like the previous stage, I will play as Matabele ant try to fend off the Driver while dealing with many bugs in Stage 5.2 with Challenge Mode on at Impossible difficulty.

Empires of the Undergrowth is a fast-paced ant colony strategy game. Underground you excavate your nest, construct tunnels and chambers to store resources and raise your brood, then venture above ground. Here, your ants will claim territory, gather resources and overwhelm fearsome foes.

This music really fits the driver ants in comparison to the army ants' own OST
I would listen to it forever both just have awesome music! Then the combat music is awesome aswell

@@user-yr4tr6pv2e they’re not army ants but they are similar, I believe they are completely different the scientific name would be the same if they were army ants but its different but I don’t completely know I’m not an ant scientist or whatever you call them

@@Shadowxatthey are in the same sub family and do most of the same things in my opinion the army ant theme fits both of them but in this scenario driver ants theme fits them

The fact that he put a soldier tile in the medic chamber accidentally and put 4 medic tiles. Then he puts 2 soldier tiles to connect it with the chamber

I wouldn't go that far, Matabele colonies usually grow to have 440-2,300 members. Driver ants can have +20 million members on the higher end.

I like it if there was a part 2. Matabele colony vs the driver ants colony. It be a blood bath. Just imagine a Army ant colony vs the driver ants. Hopefully in a update they will do that.

Megachonker, incase you didnt know, if the driver ants killed a termite mound before the day ends like right before, u can go inside the mound and actually loot what u can beford it all despawns(the queen drops 800 and doesnt despawn)
I do, it's actually all the mound. At near the end of the video, you can see I did show a little bit of that.

So far, the Driver ant and the Stink ant are unplayable. Beside them, yes I can add termite to all ant colony

Btw, if you want the first termite nest to survive the very first day, u have to kill off a full 1 wave for it to live the next day. Very important especially later in the playthrough.(there are abt 3 waves of driver ants per day)
Yooo, i just beat expert mode without anything like this and on challenge mode! Im looking forward to doing impossible on the formicarium levels and challenges with some of the strats you are doing! This is outstanding how you are doing impossible mode like its cake walk. Sweet!!!

Well i will say that was really intense but you won. I recall these would be the Demo before the actual release, or are these the actual release, i feel like the Gene Thief will likely make use of the Matabele ant in some manner like they have done with the other Colony's Though all we can do is wait and see. Keep doing amazing.

It will take time, but you will get there
It took me 14 times to beat expert mode on challenge. All you need to do is use all the space you can. Apparantly level 1 matabele ants are over powered, able to solo 2 max level small soldiers and even a lv 2 large soldier and 2 lv1 large soldiers by itself (i got this info from tug of war 3)

What is Metabolic ants?. Termite is confirm playable. Stink ant and Driver ant is still ambiguous.

@@user-cu9uy1oo8q To be honest, they are both good. Each one has a different role, so it's hard to tell which one is better. I chose the fast responder because they suit my play style more
What are the differences?
@@Stardust_Novels Anesthetists can sting to deal extra damage and slow the enemy. Fast responders move and revive ants faster

As much as I like the update I hate the Matabele ant has been assasinated dialogue, like what’s the point, ants die, is it because I can’t revive it? I don’t friggin care it’s so annoying
