FWIW, AWD versions will have 203 lb/ft of torque with the 8-speed auto.

I agree, fantastic cosmetic redesign same goes for the Terrain. They really think they know their customers. Make it good looking add screens to the inside and then save a bunch of money on development and production by skimping out on the power train. 175 hp Shanghai Ecotech is a disappointment and I don’t understand why and what it has an all wheel drive button for. Did anyone ever ask for a wheel slip engaged all wheel drive system that wasn’t totally automatic all of the time? How much money does GM save by making the driver switch AWD on instead of having the stupid car do it?

I like it better than the Ev for looks on the front ,,,,it is also alot better looking than the last generation equinox ,,just wondering how the motors gonna hold up aftertime ??

The All Wheel Drive Equinox has an 8-Speed Automatic Transmission: & 203 lb/ft of torque!
And It Is Not Slow!!!
I purchased a Loaded 2025 Equinox RS AWD for my daughter, this is the best overall vehicle in its class.
