Excellent comparison. Purchased the Equinox RS two weeks ago. The 'safety' features are outstanding. Ride is great. Went with RS for the extra "bling" look (stitching, embossed head rest). The technology works greats, however, Chevy did a LOUSY job providing info on how to use all the options, navigate screens, etc. Been to the dealer TWICE to get instruction on "maps" and apps. If you are going to purchase an Equinox make sure the WIRELESS charging works for YOUR phone. It does NOT work for my Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) phone, but it DOES wirelessly charge my wife's phone. Bottom line - It's only been two weeks and 200 miles - I'd recommend this Equinox - GREAT upgrades from previous model years.
I really like even the base LT model. I was disappointed in the engine power and efficiency vs competitors at first, but really, I prefer the nicer materials and convenience and safety features. Standard heated wheel and seats? Shocked that I prefer the new Nox to the new Terrain. Well done.
I’ve actually bought vehicles from this dealership. I’ve bought an Equinox, Monte Carlo SS, Chevy Cruze. I now live in Orlando, Florida. I have an Equinox RS on deposit and should be here next week.
This was great, Honestly, I was considering the RS but now you got me thinking the Midnight Trim might actually be a great trade off for a savings of about 3-4K.
I love this equinox, my favorite color on it is the green, as for the blue in this video I feel like you have to see it in person to really appreciate it, cause looking at it online does it no justice, it’s nice but it looks way better in person. I really wished Chevy would’ve given it more power though.
I going to test drive this at some point. The RS has a unique look but the interior being red may be a deal breaker. I think a fully loaded LT with Midnight package may be the way to go. Then again, I don't need roof rails.......
I have the 1.5 EcoBoost engine with the CVT tranny - I've had NO PROBLEM when I need to get the 'punch' when 'needed' (it's only been two weeks), but it also "sips" gas (getting 28 miles/gal). Hope that helps.
Just wished they kept the 12v adaptor in the front console area. But overall it's a very nice improvement inside and out. It's too bad Chevy can't make the pricing equal on both sides of the border. Canadians always pay more.
The New Chevy Equinox downfall is the lack of a 2.0 Turbo engine found in The Cadillac XT4. There is no need for the shark fin feature on the sides of the vehicle. The Interior needs to adapt the interior from the New GMC Terrain which is far superior! If is changes were in the 2026 edition I would order a LT AWD fully loaded without the ugly Black Package. I prefer chrome on my vehicles.

Nice side by side comparison review with these 3 different trims 👍👍
Thanks Michael!

The 2023 Moto G Stylus does not support wireless charging on a hardware level, so this is not an issue related to the Equinox.
@@jwhelan06lol I was about to type this myself
Great comparison review
Only thing I don’t like is they discontinued the turn signal indicator on the side mirrors!
Thank you for answering my questions about the trim differences. Still wish HD Radio was included.
Excellent description and an impressive improvement on the Equinox. 👍
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the donation!!

That's awesome! Do you ever come back to visit the Quad Cities?

The red paint with the red interior accents look sharp.

Would get the LT fully loaded. I got a Blazer EV 2LT with a panoramic sunroof over the RS and have zero regrets
The thing with these (and new Terrain) is that GM came close to putting an inexcusable engine in there. Anyway your vids are v useful.
As mentioned, bought the RS with 1.5 turbocharge. AGREE not the BEEFIEST engine, but I don't need the muscle. :)
@@cosettepotozniak7987 congrats good looking car
Where did the dealership get the front license plate brackets? A dealer here told me they haven't even been manufactured yet. WHAT?
Given these had them, I assume they are available.
Of course, but where can a person order them? Cannot find them online.
Can you do a test drive of the RS. Just wondering how the get up and go is with the turbo engine 8 speed.
I can see if I can get ahold of an AWD model to test drive. I am curious as well.
@@CarsMadeSimplethank you that would be great as we have a 2014 V-6 and wonder about the power in the 2025 turbo engines now.

Is the LT trim not as wide as RS trim?
Thanks
They are the same width
It's a very nice suv, but still too expensive. They also should've put in a new engine and dropped the cvt. It's still a fine suv overall
Whats the point of a sporty rs model with the pokey 1.5l😂
Whatever you get, it needs to dual tone roof!
Agree.
Don't consider, wait until they get any hidden bugs out.
Just test drove this car and liked it until I pressed the accelerator. Chevy missed the boat without V6. A turtle can outrun this car.
All 3 have a terrible motor
Too much for a Chevy man
I would put the black's car tires on the RS car. RS car has ugly ass tires.
