    How sad. What is worse is the guy that got her pregnant taking advantage of a mentally ill person.

    And when you live there and see how certain men antagonize and harrass her in spite of her clear disability & trauma, it makes you even more mad that sheʻs not getting help she needs and she is being victimized… I hope her daughter can have good care, and iʻm glad she doesnʻt remember anything.

      She’s probably on drugs and affected the baby in the process. Walking around dragging her by the umbilical cord? Pretty awful.

      🙄 Do you have any idea how this child came into this world ? Do you really believe its possible that a houseless woman with what appears to be either some kind of traumatic brain injury or some sort of serious dissociative personality disorder WAS PREGNANT in Hilo and not one police officer, not one CWS worker, not one Catholic " Charity " worker noticed her pregnancy and offered her some assistance ? 🤦‍♀️ I have no idea where that woman got a baby , but I also don't find it credible she was pregnant , out on the streets, " Had no idea she was pregnant ", and birthed a perfectly healthy baby. No way. All this reporter has said is that the umbilical cord was attached to the baby. That doesn't mean it was attached to this woman. I don't know completely what happened in Hilo yesterday, but I don't believe this ludicrous story. Its absolutely not credible on every level of reality. If Jeremy claimed a mob of aliens walked up to him in Hilo and offered to let him ride on their UFO , I'd find that more credible than this nonsense. 🤦‍♀️

      @@sarahrose4126 The mother was dragging the baby by the umbilical cord still attached. They had to cut the cord to free the baby. You should pay attention before you post your comments that is false.

      @@anonymous-zn2iv Sorry, I work with the houseless here on Maui and thats just not true. . When it comes to a pregnant houseless woman, I assure you every single member of the community is either up in her face or calling both the police and CWS daily until they find her and track the pregnancy. This is Hawaii, not New York city. Everybody here knows every houseless person and gossips about them incessantly. No way this woman was pregnant in Hilo and houseless and nobody notice the alleged pregnancy. That's just not credible in the Hawaiian Islands. This might be credible in Los Angeles or New York city, but not here.

    • @sarahrose4126
      @sarahrose4126 6 месяцев назад

      No , that was on Oahu . There seems to be no forensic evidence to support that story though. One sketchy resident who refused to allow his face to be filmed gave a fairly non credible story of finding a baby in a garbage can and a woman giving birth on the sidewalk who nobody seems to know, and nobody else seems to have witnesses other than this one sketchy man who is so ashamed of himself he doesn't want anyone to know his identity. Both of these stories are fairly non credible, although for different reasons. Returning to this non credible story , I can't seem to find one Hilo resident who knew this woman was pregnant, although tons of people are claiming to have " known " her. Really ? A houseless woman severely pregnant waddling around and not one person knew or offered to help the unborn child ? 🤦‍♀️ I don't find that to be credible, tbh.

    Can Jeremy or KITV give an update on the baby born ? How is the baby doing ? Did anybody ever do a DNA test on the baby to determine if the houseless woman was actually the mum ( which i seriously doubt she was ) , who the father was, how the houseless woman is doing , etc. This seemed like such an improbable situation ( a houseless woman in downtown Hilo nine months pregnant with not one soul on the island noticing the pregnancy ? ). It would be nice to see an update on this bizarre story.

    Obviously, this woman needs treatment and help, not jail time. To not retain her and offer care and treatment right away, is a fault of the system.
    For people to watch and witness the birth of a child on a sidewalk and not offer assistance earlier, is the real crime.
    What has Hawaii become but a bunch of cocktail sipping tourists at a bar being entertained by such a horrible scene?
    Appalled.
    The story here is not a mentally ill, knocked up by another loser male in downtown Hilo, but the absurdity of gawkers watching for over at least 30 minutes or more.

      It was Ronald Reagan who decided the mentally ill should not have asylums any longer and instead should just live in the street. Granted it's gutless of the Democrats to not change this. Gavin Newsom in California is trying - against much opposition but he keeps fighting - to set up an asylum system again to put at least the crazier street zombies into.
