This series was more sad than scary honestly. But I think that was the whole point. The ending definitely tugs at your heartstrings. But it also leaves you a bit confused as to what’s happening. Makes you wonder if a season 2 is possible

No need for a season 2 unless they treat it like an anthology. She's stuck in a timeloop because of her mother. Her mother is trying to break it at the end by saying, "Don't come home" because she understands what would happen and why she was choking her and finally saw the resemblance. It's a tragic life cycle for Varee.

The time travel got me. The mother and daughter went to the time travel because of her mother. Varee is adapted because her mother real son died of accident so she use travel time to bring her son back but the child who went is Varee's son😅 it’s really confusing

Omg I'm at ep. 4 and it doesn't stop surprising me!! I feel like it should be hyped as much as some American stories if not more! Such rare thing for trailer nit to actually give out the real story but looks like it does and you keep guessingm freaky... And there are so many cultural and character details packed in, it makes for such a rich story on so many levels I can probably watch few times and not be bored... so happy I gave it a chance! 🔥

What a cinematography direction location story line suspense emotion everything on just point I love this it is I cry a lot if you want everything in one series then go for it ❤️
Thailand, you have nailed it! I loved this original limited series. This is more than just a "ghost story", there are so many other relevant elements in this series. The drama, acting and the story are all amazing. I think the director and script writer wanted to merge multiple genres in one show and they did not fail. It could have easily become very cringey, but they pulled it off masterfully.
Every scene and prop has relevance so pay attention to the plot, if you get lazy, you will miss a lot of important things. I wish I could talk in detail about the series but I won't give spoilers so that people can enjoy this show.
It does get slow in the middle especially with the lady cop and her story, but all the characters are important in the series. Also, I still don't understand one thing, that if the old man looking after the house saw the little girl with her mother, then why did he say to the cops that he didn’t ? Maybe he was still protecting the secret of the lady of the house.
I can see that the story took inspiration from many movies and shows like ‘The Conjuring’ movie and another Netflix drama ' The haunting of the Hill House'. Is it watchable? Yes! Is it entertaining? Yes! It is scary and emotional. I am so glad I decided to watch this. It has been years since I watched a good Asian horror/ mystery series.

*She tries to get back her daughter( but she doesnt understand that Min and she are the same person)
*Panida discovers she opened a portal when her experiment goes wrong and she accidentally creates a portal. It's not a time machine. It can only bring stuff and people from the future and not from the past. She actually got surprised when a shoe fell from the portal.
* And then in future when Panida loses her biological daughter, she tries to commit s***de out of guilt for being a bad mother by j**ping off the bridge, but her shoe slips and falls into the portal, and that's when it clicks to her that she created a portal.

Its like Haunting of the Hillhouse you feel like its horror story but its a heart-breaking story.
Except, haunting of hill house got their happy ending story. I feel like Don’t Come Home was a good mixer of Haunting of Hill House and Dark/1899.

Finally, something different to watch. I actually paid attention to this one. Just watched it all in one night. Truly next level storyline. I feel this will get a bad rating because many won't understand the level of intelligence this took. I hope to seem more from these writers. 10 / 10 for me. The mind tricks, and the twist and the actual truth about the character is wow. The comments prove many do not get the ending.
It’s very similar to the series “Dark”. The productors surely took inspiration from that series, so many similar things

Just finished watching it. Its worth a watch. Basically this whole series is a giant loop of events. However at the end the loop should have been broken and that evil mother should have died instead of varee.

answer is bootstrap paradox but not so sure if its applicable to the concept "you giving birth to yourself". Look up the scene in "Dark" where bootstrap paradox was explained then youll get your answer somehow i guess. But my simple answer is Varee gave birth to herself, regardless of whoever is the father, she will always give birth to herself, go back to that house and repeat, a time loop.
Yes it's a timeloop she was stuck between that time, to stop it she needs to stay away from her home so the time travel thing will not pull them back

The director purposely did not tell this story so that everyone could make their own interpretation. But the director said that he played the theory Grand Father Paradox
But some theories tell about Parthenogenesis (full clone) the baby can same mom everything but normally humans and Mammals can’t do this by naturals because when to create a complete child embryo Demand for jeans from both the father's and mother's This type of reproductive cell produces only hair or (incomplete) skin. It must be stimulated with chemicals. or electric current This is consistent with returning with a huge electrical current that may cause the varee to change their reproduction on their own. Because in the story it won't tell about Varee having a child with her husbrand + in story her husbrand tells it's not my child. So Varee and Min not same person but it copy or clone

In 1992, a mother loses her child and feels terribly guilty for it. She tries to bring her back using a time machine. What happens is: another little girl appears. She's coming from the future. 30 years later.
The mother loves the kid and wants to keep her. But is still longing for her real daughter.. So makes a new attempt. This time, a bigger woman appears. Turns out she's the real girl's mother.
Defensive, sick and selfish, she kills the real mother and leaves the house.
Little girl is growing. She starts to look more and more like.. The crazy lady that claimed to be coming from the future.. And it suddenly hit her.
Around the last episode, she understands that the woman was telling the truth.
So, she tries to stop the tragedy by asking her daughter to "not come home". But the kid had amnesia and forgot everything that happened before her 5 years age.. So.. She still somehow comes home.
To face the same cycle, and same tragedy.
Little girl gets pulled back to the past, the mother is next, but dies trying to bring back her daughter.. Then the kid grows up to become a mother, again, raised by her own "future" killer, and the story keeps replaying until something happens to break it.
To break it, the mother needs to not come home.
Hence, the husband has to treat her well and look after her. Never push her or let her leave him and find shelter in the haunted house. This is the scenario that would have broken the cycle.
Tbh I didn't like it.
The whole time travel concept had many cliffhangers.
Villains didn't get arrested.
Good cops could've deserved better.
There is a massive hole in the plot. So the professor’s daughter and husband died. She invented the time machine that can bring things from the FUTURE located right above the machine. The hole in the plot is professor’s daughter is dead in the first place so how did professor’s daughter went to Bangkok so she can come back after 30 years to the house? Then only she and her little girl got sucked in by the machine to the past. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

And she again give her her mother name and after that child again married her mother husband after becoming adultand the loop continues. What i think is 😂 they didn't knew about great grandfather pardox the movie director soo they just made the movie out of illogical quantum physics but nonetheless the movie was fantastic
@ lol I was thinking the pregnant lady was gonna cross over and something happens she ends up dying AFTER giving birth. The crazy grandma has a baby to raise and “future daughter” gets to go back with her own daughter. And that the baby that crazy grandma is raising becomes the “future daughter”
@@NomadicDr7777youre wrong tho, rather its in the same concept as bootstrap paradox. The movie Predestination is somewhat similar to this. The author didnt do a bad job at all, in fact it was revealed as clear as day.

So the question of "where is the origin? or how it came to be?" in a bootstrap paradox is present in the series.
