I really like how Jinx engine's games always have a mark on the left side of the screen for the PoC height, specially when it's a game with mechanics that can lower it.

Yuuka is a theif just like marisa. According to slice she has the ultimate magic and according to zun yuuka learned the ultimate magic from someone after beating the mystic square cast. So that's why yuuka Is one of the strongest charecters in this game.
I doubt my attempts to convince the witch would be truly interesting; she'd probably shrug it off. I wonder, though... She seems like the kind if person that is proud and reckless enough to attack really strong youkais to prove her strength. Which she did quite a lot of time. And succeeded to defeat them. *chuckles*
Probably the artist giving homage to the fact that yes, this Alice is the same character as Windows Alice, even if the PC-98 stuff is all but irrelevant in ZUN's eyes, plot-wise.

You know, I’ve heard a lot of people say that this Alice looks nothing like post-98 Alice, but not only that, the boss fight doesn’t look similar either. Not only do we not see any dolls, but the general usage of specific colors and bullet types give the spells some powerful imagery that actually makes this look more like Patchouli with her element-based spell cards than Alice. Heck, here’s some elemental spellcard names off the top of my head: 4:23 Fire Sign: Burning Updraft 4:43 Fire and Earth Sign: Magma Tunnel (or Fire Sign: Phoenix Wings) 5:16 Water Sign: Freezing Rain 5:40 Water and Metal Sign: Quicksilver Mirror 6:06 Fire and Metal Sign: Shining Sword (or Fire and Water Sign: Light Refraction) 6:31 Fire and Air Sign: Cloudbreak Beams 6:57 Earth Sign: Tangled Undergrowth 7:31 Earth and Air Sign: Dust Storm 8:02 Five Elements Sign: Ceremony of the Cycle of Elements

Also Moses's miracle is a copy of alices old attack which Is named after a spell Heck alice and shinki have a lot that they were copied off from. For example alice had bullet border barrier thing that is similar to shikeiki warps and shinki had a bullet pattern extreamely similar to devils reincarnation from byakuren.

Actually, that only applies to Re: MS and Re: LLS. It's not in Re: SoEW, nor is it in any of the Len'en games or that Touhou game with BPoHC's engine.

I just noticed something, when the player gets to Alice in Mystic Square, It's the same as the beginning of stage 3 in Perfect Cherry Blossom.
I love how at some points the player would just start shooting in time with the music.
He is making two danmaku games concurrently; "Evanescent Existance" and "Earthen Miraculous Sword" which are things you might be looking forward to.
