The court of thrones and roses series is literally SO addictive and the plot is very well thought out. Although I’d say the 1/2 of the 1st book is a little boring, but the 2nd book is really something, so def don’t get discouraged if you don’t like the 1st book that much!

You've made me officially move The Court of Thrones series up to my next TBR. I don't generally read fantasy but some of my favorite books growing up were fantasy like The City of Ember. Last year I read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue which was excellent. Highly recommend. I listened to your podcast today and lol yes 100% agreed what is it about fantasy books that they are all sooooo long? Also, I know a set designer in LA who doesn't charge $50K for set design with lighting and all so HMU if you're still looking for someone.
