I did the Y Bridge and both hot and cold side man its a substantial difference in air flow. The truck builds boost so easy now its like a gaser feel no lag or build up. IDK why it even idles easier definitely cooler EGT's. One of the better things I have done to my truck for sure!
I just ordered that same hot side pipe for my 2013 silverado 2500HD 6.6L LML Duramax. The cold side is all 100% stock so l hope putting the hot side pipe on 1st doesn't throw anything out of balance.
Hard 2 pinpoint any performance/mpg increase on any 1 component since at the time of this video I also did the intake, egr delete, exhaust, and tuning. Saw huge performance increase and 4-5 mpg increase. I doubt just the intercooler pipe would yield much result however in conjunction with other components its definately breathing easier. Just 1 piece of the puzzle
I see you have the intake mouth price to the turbo. Any fitting issues such as the EGR cooler getting in the way? I have a 2007.5 LMM. I’ve heard some say that the cooler must be deleted for the fit of that piece.
I replaced the intake and turbo mouth piece at same time, one of the first things I did so my egr and cooler were still intact I personally didnt have any fitment or clearance issues, bolted right in place..
@@Turnersspeedshop so I installed the intake neck to the turbo but now getting a P0101 code. Did you have to tune your truck after the CAI? (Meaning well before you did the EGR delete)
Oh man...sorry 2 hear..I remember reading stories about that be4 I did it but I gave it a shot anyway and never did have an issue I know there are lots of MAF threads related 2 that issue..maybe I got lucky. I didnt tune truck till I did the exhaust and egr delete
My biggest problem about buying one is will there be a notice with hauling thats about it same with a turbo down pipe the cost vs performance is my dilemma
Odds are changing 1 component such as this will not provide u a noticeable difference . The system works in conjunction though between larger more free flowing intercooler tubing, intake and free flowing exhaust combined yields great increases. Better MPG runs cooler, lower EGT's etc. I tow often and ot works great. Point is benefits wont be seen unless u plan on doing it all. 1 bolt on isn't gonna help noticeably but anything you can do 2 allow the engine 2 breath better is beneficial
Building that engine, we used soap and water for lubrication
Great tip! Thanx 4 sharing

It really does help them breathe easier..definitely worth the investment
Who's Y bridge did you go with?
I used HSP 4 everything. Including y Bridge

Any noticeable differences? Sound, Performance, fuel millage?

@Lawrence Heinz
Did you ever figure out you code issue?
@@waynejohnson3388 it was fully seated and the sensor at the y-bridge was broken. So it was either or both that caused it.
Did u have trouble fitting the inner fender on after this install?
No...doesn't take up much more space than factory 1 did

Very nice 👍🏼
I wish they would attach the boots on the pipe by heat or glue stuff so there’s one less possibility of slipping off.
No joke!
Is this a federal emissions truck?
Absolutely not that wouldn't be legal...strictly 4 offroad use only
