I was considering getting an IPad for Amplitube and other modellers, but I was concerned the latency would bug me too much. So this looks very very interesting if the latency is near zero, as claimed.
Will the Android version have recording facilities, and allow you to import a track from your music library ?
***** Not at this time. To play along with audio, one must launch the music app/RUclips, etc.. and run an aux cable from the phone/tablet headpone out into the iRIg UA aux input

i got the app and i really want to use it, and i know it requires irig, but 2 questions, 1 how do i connect the irig to the amplifire, headephone, or guitar, 2 dose it works with any irig cables or only the irig UA?

ikmultimedia I do get the point but still the only Amplitubes I can find in Play store are the ones prepared for Samsung. Does it mean that I will only be able to download the software when using UA interfaces?

I've been recommended iOS by you guys before. But I'm hungry for the dimebag collection. I can run deplike on my S9+ with no latency. Do you think the dimebag pack will run smooth ? Dont want to drop some £150 for a UA plus the pack to find out it wont.

AmpliTube UA runds directly on the iRig UA interface so it will not work without iRIg UA.

1) I'm thinking about buying this but I heard there isn't a recorder. Can I just use the recorder on phone simultaneously with this app? Or is there any recorder apps that anybody could recommend?
2) If I download this on my phone, could I also use it on my PC or other devices? like with my settings and everything saved on it
+melissa anthony 1) You would need something to route audio from one app to another and I do not believe there is such an app available on Android
2) While you can use iRig UA on your PC, the apps are completely different and will not share settings, etc.

hironanase20122012 iRig 2 has a heapdhone output and will output audio but it is meant to be an interface to get audio into the device.

I am looking to buy this but one question exists. Is it possible to have the full range of amp tuning on a mobile phone that exists on the apple tablet devices?
So far I've only been able to see 3 options on the amplifier GUI.

swiffty1 Yes, iRig UA does and it runs the code directly on the iRig UA unit. The latency comment was in context of iOS having a massive head start on Android but we will keep progressing as we can :)

Артем Глухов iRig works with Android but note that if you are looking to use AmpliTube with low latency, you need to have a device that supports Samsung Pro Audio if you are using original iRig For low-latency audio with AmpliTube on Android devices that do NOT support Samsung Pro Audio you need to use iRig UA.

That is not a Samsung device so it would not support Samsung Pro Audio

wlliamson53 It will not. AmpliTube UA will only run on iRig UA. iRig 2 will work on Android devices that support Samsung Pro Audio using AmplilTube for Samsung Pro Audio. Other devices need to use iRig UA + AmpliTube UA for la ow/no-latency experience.

ikmultimedia Interesting and surprising. You have one microphone and sounds in stereo, is because stereo delay, stereo chorus or similar? To get real stereo for real guitarist we need two amps, two microphones, panned opossite, plus stereo effects from FX rack. Like Dimeola or Tom Scholz or other know guitar players.
Yes, that's more like the desktop version of AmpliTube where there is more computing horsepower available so you have the ability to run a dual-rig routing.

A straight 1/8" stereo to 1/4 mono would give you tremendous feedback. You would need either a 1/8" stereo to 1/4 DUAL mono and plug one side of the dual mono side into your amp or a special cable like our Mono Output Adapter from our iLine Cable Kit (also available individually) www.ikmultimedia.com/iline

medjin85 iRig UA is not for iOS devices. Those iOS apps work with interfaces made for iOS like iRig HD, iRig PRO, iRig 2.
