Because the DLC you're about to play contains ample amounts of all of those things. So I suppose that in branches B, C and D, Cent ended with Zero first because he left Two side because of what he did. In branch B he lost his memory, in Branch C he wanted to give peace to Two after her mental Breakdown, while in Branch D I suppose Zero killed her after Five....
My theory is Cent approached Zero in Branch D and asked for a mercy kill. If Zero killed Two first, Two's power was divided between the other Intoners, which would explain why Five was able to resurrect herself. Edit: It also explains why Michael got a bigger power boost from eating Four (empowered by Two and Five) than he did from eating Three in Branch A (empowered by Four and Five).
+Gary D. St John So Three is Homura and Five is Mami. That leaves us with Kyoko and Madoka. Which doesn't add up since if One is anything, she is Kyubey, or perhaps Zero is Kyubey. In any case, Four's and One's color schemes do not match Kyoko's and Madoka's color schemes, as Kyoko's color is red and Madoka's is pink, Four's color is green/brown and One's is white.
I see a lot theories behind the reason why the orphan turns into homunculus from Three want to use childrens for her experiments, Cent missmanagement of Two's blessings, to the power of flower become malicious when the intoner are not around. which one is true tho?
Sad/Fun fact (depends on who reads this): Do you know how "Legend of Zelda" has three timelines because we're actually experiencing the pre-"Breath of the Wild" events on the shoes of an archeologist/historian ? Well, what if the reason "Drakengard 1 and 3" has multiple branches is because "Nier" is actually the present day of this universe, while "Drakengard" is the player's attempts at piercing into the past, only to see bits and pieces mixed together into a forcefully constructed narrative ? In other words, Two probably went through all of the stages of her suffering (her venting mechanisms in each branch) in a single timeline, bringing diversified forms of pain and misery to everyone in her final moments towards everyone in the world she swore to protect, but being too busy summoning Raphael alongside Cent in either the forest or Cathedral city to even notice. Again, I think the branches are mere innacuricies between history reports, so even if ending B did happen, not all details surrounding how it occurred are 100% ccurate. Like 1 and 3 could actually still be alive by the time 2 was murdered, which led 3 to gain the power of summoning her daemon Dragon. In fact, I think this being the true timeline makes more sense than the battle we see in Branch A, since she didn't sing "Aaaaaahhhh" to summon her Guardian, which I find very weird. The reason that probably happened was because the history reports could agree she didn't sing in her final battle, but couldn't agree on how her mental state was, which was probably the main factor for her decision to make a summoning without a song.
Its like watching a sickening sweet Otome game wherein the Sage (Sanniwa) makes out with a humanized sword (Touken Danshi) then unfolds and ends into a horror freakshow. I'll go back to watching Sigui and Bedman (whatever their names are) do innuendos with a giant crab instead. :/

I recall that in the pre-DLC poll of Drakengard 3 characters that was taken in Japan, Two actually ended up 2nd from the bottom, only above Accord. Mikhail was at the top, Four was 2nd, and Zero 4th. I heard that this poll was the main reason Four's Prologue was created to "correct" people's perceptions of her. And yeah, I agree. Two is sweet, but she has no idea what she is doing, which is why she ends up doing **by far** the most destruction to her own people during the Prologues. According to Three's prologue, she "only" killed 56 people to make those Greater Gigantes: if you also add the Enhanced Soldiers Four is ordered to "clean up" in the Land of Forests in her Prologue, that is still up to only about a hundred in total. In this prologue, you definitely kill way more zombified soldiers than that. Drakengard in general is notable in that in its universe's morality, intentions don't matter, and only consequences do.
I was about to buy the game for $19 on the PSN and then I saw the DLC. Fucking $5 for the Japanese voices, and $6 for each damn prologue which is only 1 hour. What the fuck Square-Enix? you charge that for an unfinished and laggy game. You're literally worse than Capcom or EA.

This player doesn’t know how to dodge at all...just slide and dice away!
And what, exactly, would I need to dodge for if I still made it through the stage?
Shinnin painstakingly yes you made it through...lol kudos!

The Devil's Muse they redeemed themselves with Automata, in fact, they have no budget to make dlc so, they aren't bothering :P
