You are very good at making a block with so many seams. Your accuracy is commenable. Lovely!

I love the use directional fabric! What a beautiful block ❤ A very brief intro might be nice at the beginning but nothing big. I really liked the key in the corner showing which part you were working on.

Thank you so much for the compliments! You're right, I should have filmed an intro. I struggle with making videos though. This was one where I couldn't spend one more minute working on it. LOL! I'll do better next time.

@@joannabeinker1895 Thank you Joanna! Sunflowers are some of my favorites as well. I think this block would make a cute daisy with a few color swaps. Or maybe sunflowers and pumpkins for autumn? Hmmm… You may have just inspired me to make a new quilt!

I'm so glad! Thank you so much. I became a little obsessed with the wooden barn quilts and wanted to pay homage to them.

This looks very similar to the swoon pattern. In fact it only has a couple of modifications. 😢

This design is an old and well-known barn quilt design that I've drafted into a quilt block pattern, as have many people. I'm interested though. What's the swoon pattern?

@@SeasideSnugglesQPC Swoon is a pattern designed by CAMILLE ROSKELLEY of thimble blossoms quilts. Very popular for many years now.

@@cathyparnellvance6474 That's very cool. It is very similar. Many barn quilt designs are just with different colorways. Thank you! I learned something today! Look up the "Carpenter's Wheel" from the 1860s. It's also the same design.
