An excellent accounting of the symptoms of Crohn’s disease. I have had it for 27 years. It has been mild at times and moderate to severe at times but I have never been completely symptom free. I appreciate that you included the problems with cognitive function. I feel like an idiot sometimes because I have to slog through what feels like molasses to comprehend and remember things. A couple symptoms that I regularly have that you didn’t mention are nausea and dizziness, although the dizziness is probably related to the fatigue due to malabsorption of nutrients. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much for watching, it can be so frustrating when your brain doesn’t want to work with you! yes definitely get nauseous and dizzy as well. I think I am going to do an updated version of this video soon. I hope you are doing well 🤍 xx
please take time to read this, it might help you my husband suffered from crohn's disease almost all his life and i can tell you that its really terrible, watching him get lean and pale worried me the more, he lost appetite, he was always and was unable to go to work again,he kept having sores in his mouth and the constant pain was making the situation worse. we kept going from one gastroenterologist to another, they were not helping the situation, they kept giving us different drugs and it was making it worse, they kept increasing the dosage, in 2016 when i went to cvs pharmacy to go and get another drugs for him, that was were i heard about dr folonsho a herbal doctor, who specialises in using natural roots and herbs to treat diseases and chronic pain. at first i was in doubt, because we have tried many options that were not helping and all the doctors we came across told us that there was no cure, and i believed, so i contacted this herbal doctor and he said he could help my husband, after i told him my problem, he said he has a herbal remedy that can heal my husband and reverse this illness completely and he will be back to his normal state of health, not having many alternatives anymore i requested for the herbal remedy, because the situation was getting worse, after using the medicine for about 3 weeks there was great improvement, and my husband was getting back to his normal self, its been 4 years now and my husband is still strong as ever, all thanks to dr folonsho, and may GOD continue to bless you, so if you are still sufferring from this disease kindly contact dr folonsho today either through email drfolonsho@gmail.com or via whats app +2348073410606 or you can check out his website drfolonshoherbalhome.simdif. com/ and you will be glad you did, i wouldn't want someone to experience what my husband did
I dont know anyone who suffers from Crohn's disease and wow the symptoms are alot. I'm glad you can feel better by working out and keeping healthy. So important. Thanks for sharing your journey
This is a really informative and sweet video- I am going through ALL of this right now but not yet 100% diagnosed, just now going through seeing my GI and getting it sorted out -
I was diagnosed later in life- at 50. But I believe the disease started in me around 48 years old. My worst symptoms are the arthritis and joint pain. Truly difficult to deal with. 😢
I have a friend that struggles with Crohn’s disease and she tells me all the side effects she gets from the medication she has to take.I hope things get better for you. You’re in my prayers!
Am always tired and I have Crohn's,feel so guilty for being tired and feel like it's a character flaw.any thoughts from any one would be appreciated! Thank you..Chris
Your so right about hair skin and nails! One thing that I suffer with after years of meds and years of vomiting is tooth loss and decay, it's a huge problem for me at 37 I was diagnosed at 25.
Can you please do more videos around your Crohn’s. I suffer with Crohn’s and there’s no content creator I can relate to which most of the time upsets me as everyone’s just living their lives whilst I’m in pain etc
I hear ya. I don't see too many people that have channels and talk about Crohn's or say they have Crohn's. It's another condition that needs to be talked about because it is so underestimated and misunderstood
I have had “stomach issues” for probably 30+ years. Was diagnosed as anxious, a malingerer, psychologically ill, etc. Was told to drink wine at night and “relax”. Finally found a doctor was literally said “I’m going to get to the bottom of this” and thank goodness she did. Had such bad crohn’s in my ileum had to have 4.5 feet of bowel removed. Was on humors, remicade, Entyvio, and now they want me on Stelera.
Sorry for the typos. Cannot eat any dairy, citrus, only a little bit of greens, and definitely no beef. Don’t give up finding an answer and don’t listen to any doctor who tells you you’re crazy. I’ve lost 80+ pounds (which I needed to lose) and have severe arthritis. You know when something’s wrong. Just keep looking for the right doctor
Wow how fortunate that you found that doctor!! I couldn’t agree more you know your body better then anyone. Hopefully you are now on the way to better health with the support from your doctor 🤍
No was on methotrexate and got so sick from it. So far the stelara is working and have my fingers crossed. Started IBD probiotics even though the doctors say I’m beyond that but seems to help Now my son is showing symptoms. 😢
Hi thanks for this video. I'm currently having all these symptoms I'm 36. Having so much pain and carnt get off the toilet . Night sweats ulcers in my mouth and barely any appetite I've lost over a stone in 2 weeks. Currently getting some tests done by my doctor.
WOW that's cruel that someone wouldn't be understand about something you can't control. You sound like you have a great outlook on it. Hope things get better.
I have UC and thankfully I had a great doctor who took my symptoms seriously. I was gaining lots of weight because I was so constipated and remember when I got diagnosed I remember saying to the nurse I can’t have IBD I’m not thin enough because I thought you had to be super skinny. Since then if lost 5 stone because my condition is under control and well maintained. I never had dihoria or much blood only little spots in my poo and when I wiped and my rectum was sore and hurt when I had a bowel moment. Think it’s so important for people to realise IBD isn’t always about blood and going 60 plus times a day.
Thank you for explaining so many of these things in such a detailed way. What you were saying about fatigue and the lag in being able to process an answer is so true. I used to be able to do things and speak at the same time but now a lot of the time I have to finish whatever I was processing and then take the time to find the answer to whether I want toast or porridge.

Thank you for this helpful video on your Crohn’s symptoms. Yes, fatigue sucks. You gave a good explanation as to why it happens. The body working constantly on over-drive. Makes sense. I think fatigue also has to do with nutrient deficiencies, like B-12, iron, CoEnzyme Q-10, and ATP. What did your GI doctor say fatigue was from? I’d be interested to know. Thank you.
I get sharp pains like I'm being stabbed by a butcher knife sometimes and then get diarrhea. It would happen every once in a long while and I was thinking because I hardly ever go and was finally going. Then at one point in my life it was happening quite often and then it stopped again. I haven't gotten it seen about. Hasn't really happened in awhile, so I'm relieved! That pain is enough to make you want to cry! I wouldn't want anyone to deal with that! I eat horribly though. Working on trying to do better.
The problem of Crohn's is the blood. I treated it through the blood. I took herbs from us from Egypt. I bought it. It was called a cholesterol solvent and a liver fat solvent. I was cured of Crohn's. It simply means the colon is not the actual problem. The whole story is blood. recover....
GI issues are the absolute worst and it's awful when you are out in public. I don't think we have a card like that in the U.S. but if we don't... we should! That's so cool!
I looked it up for someone before and I think it is called a restroom request card if you go online you should be able to order one. Or make you own! Stay safe 💛
Thank you this has been really helpful. Back in February, I got what I thought at the time was food poisoning with the symptoms you mentioned. But now it’s happened again in August. I’m currently on day 4 of having stomach pain, bloating and loose stool so now I’m starting to think it might be something more than just food poisoning … 😢
Thank you for sharing this and being so open about the symptoms. My friends been struggling with a lot of the same symptoms and the doctors have told her she’s fine, but she still hasn’t gotten an relieve. I’m going to share this video with her.

I know someone with Crohn's disease and it took a horrible toll on his body. He was in pain for so long and lost so much weight. It's interesting that speak of staying fit and active because that is exactly what he does to stay healthy. He works out regularly.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I also have Crohn;'s, I was diagnosed about 12 years ago and have had a several major flare ups. Im lucky that i can manage through a small dose of Aza. I found stress affects me so I try to calm myself down if I feel stressed! I hope you're doing ok x
I had aza and didn’t agree with it. So glad it works for you! Definitely need to work on being less stressed especially in theses times. I’ve done a video on a relaxing evening routine that might help you x

I'm a 56 year old male. I weigh 160 lbs and inject Stelara at a dose for a 220 lbs man for Crohn's and Ankylosin Spondylitis. This hasn't cured my condition but it makes it much better. At the end of my 8 week cycle, I begin to become symptomatic. I do have some hacks that have allowed me to become very physically fit and loads of energy. I currently maintain a bodyfat composition of less than 10%. This is accomplished by many hours at the gym. Ours that I couldn't take before my supplement regiment. My supplements are based on the theory that I'm not absorbing nutrients at the normal efficiency.
Hey sweet! Yeah defo I have been really slack with uploading at the moment but I will be getting back to weekly uploads soon 🤍 thank you for watching xx
I’ve gone to the doctor multiple times for multiple symptoms and have been told it’s either anxiety, need vitamins, or exercise well my brother just ended up in the hospital and got diagnosed with Crohn’s so I’m about to get tested for that as well because I have all the same symptoms just not as bad yet and it’s just really frustrating that nobody would listen to me when I told them the problem isn’t anxiety or vitamins lol and even if it isn’t Crohn’s (super high chance of it) I know the problem is bigger than needing vitamins lol
@@meditationforgrowth I don’t know and it’s really frustrating…. But I finally found a good doctor and have been diagnosed with Crohn’s and we are thinking I have POTS too and are gonna test for that next so I’m happy I’m finally being heard and will get treatment
Thank you for sharing your story and symptoms. I’ve been having a lot of the same symptoms and have a dr appt soon to figure out my symptoms and what exactly my bowel problems are.
I didn’t know about ibuprofen it’s weird because I know a person who has this disease and I think she took some .. should tell her !! Thanks for sharing xx
Can you share more about the pain? Was it like a contraction, squeezing and burning. At one point, it felt like my intestines were going to explode. I don't have the diagnosis yet, but it was suspected with a C-Reactive Protien of 74.5 and a CT that showed extensive inflammation of the Ilium small intestines, wall thickening and fluid that went into my pelvis. I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis. Colonoscopy on the 1st, and we'll see from there.
@juditsomi4287 Nothing yet. Still struggling with food. I can't eat anything with fiber or too much fat. I need a gastric emptying test and an endoscopy. Hopefully those will explain what's going on.
I find this a very nice vid I also have it and everyone looks at me funny when I am tired and they say you should sleep more and when I am in pain they say what have you eaten now?
Hi so I just found your video and found it very close to the symptoms I’ve had. Just curious have you gone through any surgery’s or have you had any abscess or other type of GI problems? Would love to talk to you more about it. I haven’t gone through all your videos yet as it is very late and I’ve been doing a lot of YouTubing trying to find somebody that has or is close to what I have been experiencing. Hope to maybe hear back from ya. Thank you for posting about it. Every little bit of info can help a person.
Hey I hope your doing well. I’ve not had any surgery and prior to being poorly never really had any gastro issues apart from the odd stomach bug. Happy to talk and hope it helps. Thank you so much for watching 🤍
Hi Becky, since you have come off steroids what medication are you taking at the moment? My 19yr old son has recently been diagnosed with Crohn’s, he’s currently half way through his steroids course and they are working well. His consultant has said about him starting infliximab but he’s not sure if he wants to go down the infusion route yet?

My fiancé was diagnosed with crohns before we were together. Once he overhauled his diet and started eating really clean they couldn’t find a trace of it.
Hi becki... I have a question... I've been feeling sick like I am having internal fever and low platelets counts and having pain in bones and a little crampy pain in Left lower abdomen... So can it be Crohn's ? Even though I have talked to my doctor he gave me some antibiotics and some medications and did some LFT liver tests... But as an anxiety patient I am anxious about it if is this Crohn's disease ? Can you guide me please ?
I’m sorry I am not a doctor and cannot guide you. If you are still not feeling well go back to your doctor and let them know. I hope you are feeling better soon 🤍
Paula Gross I believe there is a “restroom request card” in the US. If not I’d just make your own 💛 keeping the conversation going will hopefully educate people x
sorry i’m so late to this video but i have a question for you and i hope you can answer it for me:) so ive had crohns since i was 8 and i’m 15 now. i’m still learning how to deal with it but, is it possible to have crohns symptoms without having a flare up? like is it possible to have non GI track related symptoms even tho you’re not experiencing a flare?
My partner has shocking colitis it's in every part of their bowel and they weigh much more now than they used to. It's a myth Infact chrons or colitis can actually make you retain water from carbs in a much worse way as well. I feel so bad for my partner their family doesn't understand why they are always tired and exhausted during flair ups I have tried explaining it but for some reason people don't take chrons and colitis as serious when colitis has been proven to be one of the most painful autoimmune diseases someone can have due to the ulcers and bleeding in the bowel which makes your whole body feel ill. I wish people had more sympathy for my partner they work their ass off just to do normal things like hold down a job and live a normal life with this horrible disease I amazed of the things they can do.
Seeing stories of others who have crohn's showing I'm not alone. Thank you. 😊

Omg that’s so exciting!!! Thank you so much!
I will get back to posting regularly soon 🤍
We have allergies. Elimination of processed foods with preservatives solved are problems for the most part. The preservatives are often soy based. Regards
Thank you for your comment- crohns is an autoimmune disease and therefore isn’t effected by allergies
I know someone with Crohn's disease and it took a horrible toll on his body. He was in pain for so long and lost so much weight. It's interesting that speak of staying fit and active because that is exactly what he does to stay healthy. He works out regularly.
Amazing! I’m glad he is doing better x
Wow... you gave me a really good understanding of this disease. Thanks for your honesty and raising awareness 💕
Thank you, I want to make it a less taboo subject! X
please take time to read this, it might help you my husband suffered from crohn's disease almost all his life and i can tell you that its really terrible, watching him get lean and pale worried me the more, he lost appetite, he was always and was unable to go to work again,he kept having sores in his mouth and the constant pain was making the situation worse. we kept going from one gastroenterologist to another, they were not helping the situation, they kept giving us different drugs and it was making it worse, they kept increasing the dosage, in 2016 when i went to cvs pharmacy to go and get another drugs for him, that was were i heard about dr folonsho a herbal doctor, who specialises in using natural roots and herbs to treat diseases and chronic pain. at first i was in doubt, because we have tried many options that were not helping and all the doctors we came across told us that there was no cure, and i believed, so i contacted this herbal doctor and he said he could help my husband, after i told him my problem, he said he has a herbal remedy that can heal my husband and reverse this illness completely and he will be back to his normal state of health, not having many alternatives anymore i requested for the herbal remedy, because the situation was getting worse, after using the medicine for about 3 weeks there was great improvement, and my husband was getting back to his normal self, its been 4 years now and my husband is still strong as ever, all thanks to dr folonsho, and may GOD continue to bless you, so if you are still sufferring from this disease kindly contact dr folonsho today either through email drfolonsho@gmail.com or via whats app +2348073410606 or you can check out his website drfolonshoherbalhome.simdif. com/ and you will be glad you did, i wouldn't want someone to experience what my husband did
I also have Crohn's , now I'm getting symptoms of nausea and vomitting. The worst thing is doctors can't even tell why
The problem of Crohn's is the blood. I treated it through the blood. I took herbs from us from Egypt. I bought it. It was called a cholesterol solvent and a liver fat solvent. I was cured of Crohn's. It simply means the colon is not the actual problem. The whole story is blood. recover....
You stated that you take vitamins. Which, specifically, do you take? I can definitely recommend a supplement stack that will help.
Hey lovely I’ve just found you and this video! Any chance of an updated one?. Xx
Why aren’t more doctors listening? 😅
@@meditationforgrowth I don’t know and it’s really frustrating…. But I finally found a good doctor and have been diagnosed with Crohn’s and we are thinking I have POTS too and are gonna test for that next so I’m happy I’m finally being heard and will get treatment
I never heard about this before.. thanks for sharing!
No problem 💛
Thank you for sharing your story and symptoms. I’ve been having a lot of the same symptoms and have a dr appt soon to figure out my symptoms and what exactly my bowel problems are.
I didn’t know about ibuprofen it’s weird because I know a person who has this disease and I think she took some .. should tell her !!
Thanks for sharing xx
Yeah my doctor said anything that ends in fen don’t take it! X
Thanks for raising awareness
Thank you x
Can you share more about the pain? Was it like a contraction, squeezing and burning. At one point, it felt like my intestines were going to explode. I don't have the diagnosis yet, but it was suspected with a C-Reactive Protien of 74.5 and a CT that showed extensive inflammation of the Ilium small intestines, wall thickening and fluid that went into my pelvis. I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis. Colonoscopy on the 1st, and we'll see from there.
What happened to you since?
@juditsomi4287 Nothing yet. Still struggling with food. I can't eat anything with fiber or too much fat. I need a gastric emptying test and an endoscopy. Hopefully those will explain what's going on.
I find this a very nice vid I also have it and everyone looks at me funny when I am tired and they say you should sleep more and when I am in pain they say what have you eaten now?
Yeah it can be really frustrating! Hope you are doing well x
Have you noticed a lot of mucus in your BM during flare ups?
Hi so I just found your video and found it very close to the symptoms I’ve had. Just curious have you gone through any surgery’s or have you had any abscess or other type of GI problems? Would love to talk to you more about it. I haven’t gone through all your videos yet as it is very late and I’ve been doing a lot of YouTubing trying to find somebody that has or is close to what I have been experiencing. Hope to maybe hear back from ya. Thank you for posting about it. Every little bit of info can help a person.
Hey
I hope your doing well.
Avoid acidic food dairy caffeine all sorts and hot chili food
Do you still have acid excessive and using medication for that ? What is the name of it ? Thanks
Ialso have Crohn’s plus ibs and collagenous colitis I’m on humira
Hope you are doing well at the moment 🤍

I've been on humira for a year and it helps a little but I still have really bad days
How are you doing now? R u taking any medicines or biologics?
I am doing great now thank you, not on any meds or biologics
@@Beckijackson_ oh wow. Great to hear that. Any supplements you would suggest that would be safe?
My fiancé was diagnosed with crohns before we were together. Once he overhauled his diet and started eating really clean they couldn’t find a trace of it.
That’s amazing!! It’s crazy how different the disease is depending on the person
What type of foods does he eat ?
What kind of test do they use for diagnosing chrons?
Endoscopies and colonoscopies
Thank you so much for this video! 💗🌸✨
Thank you for watching 🤍
They also told me /// you are not skinny enough 😰🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂
Does US have that can't wait card? I have a friend that can NEVER wait! She is also not skinny! People are just not educated about it!
Does it cause any menstrual issues..like severe pain and multiple periods a month
My periods are more painful now and they stopped for a little while but menstrual issues can be linked to loads of things x
@@Beckijackson_ I got diagnosed with chrons disease and pcod at the same time and pain has been intense since then
@@flowery_Apobangpo I can only imagine. I hope they find something to help you manage the pain 🤍
I have too
Tounge tied alright, effects our brain I lost so much weight n couldn’t speak like usual extremely tounge tied..
You're beautiful... the fact that someone actually thinks you're fat is just silly.
Whoever called you fat needs to be throat punched immediately. Also I have crohns and I'm not "skinny." Keep up the good fight! 💜
Carnivore diet really helps
