I put bike tube on my new bow here a few weeks ago thanks to one of your other videos when you mentioned it. In the military we cut that stuff up for all kinds of crap even to go on M4 grips. It’s perfect on my bow. Thanks Jason.
it's talc powder that's on the inside so that the tube doesn't stick to itself (and eventually fuses) in warm conditions. you can also use this as the in between layer in your tab basically if you need multiple.
Have been doing this for years. Now this is keeping things simple. I stick a tooth pick in it by shelf as a cheap arrow holder. Stick it in rubber loose and just shoot, it falls out.
Yep work on recurves too just takes a little more work to get it up to the shelf. But stays really well when there. Or some guys just use a smaller section of tube in the throat of the recurve grip.
Would this be a one size fits most? I shoot a Bear Montana, could I use this same size tube? Always look forward to learning your bow hunting hacks. Thanks.
“If you don’t have hundreds of inner tubes, you’re missing the boat.” 😆 made me laugh
Got to have innertube available always🤣

Yep I use a plastic piece of zip tie for the arrow holder. Tooth picks work great too but I always break em🤣

ask a bike shop for a few flat tubes in different sizes they should be free and will let you do all kinds of neat things with them.
Yes that size too will fit almost any longbow
If you ain't tubin' you're newbin'
lol. love it.
Talcum powder
So if they last 10 years, and I live to be 100. I only need like 2. Why 100s? Anyway. I put a rubber grip on my longbow. Love it.
Cause there are so many different uses for tubes! Everything from making ranger bands to knife grips to lid openers, etc.
I would highly recommend doing this it’s awesome and easy to do if I can do it trust me anyone can do it
Glad you enjoyed it
