I have enjoyed your content so much during this season of my life. I started watching you because of my own fertility journey and going through my first IUI this month. Today I found out I’m pregnant 💜 I wish you the best and am rooting for you!
My first egg retrieval, I got 4 eggs, 3 fertilised and we had one to transfer none to freeze. Second retrieval, got 5 eggs and 4 fertilised, we got one really good quality embryo which we froze. Third retrieval, we got 7 eggs with a double trigger shot, but only 4 fertilised, and one embryo made it to transfer but none to freeze. Both of the embryos we transferred (from our first and third retrieval) were poor quality and both failed. We are really hoping our frozen one from our second cycle is our baby. We are going to do further testing before transferring that one though. Thank you so much for sharing your story - I really relate to so much you are going through. We have unexplained infertility too and my egg reserve is also on the low side. IVF is a really hard process especially if you don't get the results you were hoping for, but we just need to keep going in the hope that one day it will result in our babies.
thank you so so much for sharing Jayde ❤️ it really helps to hear other people's stories as we go through ours. Sending you SO MUCH LOVE and positivity for that good quality embryo whenever the time comes to transfer ❤️
Praying for a wonderful news at the end of this journey for you and jack!!! Thank you for being so real with us sharing all this!! I appreciate you and know that I’m praying for you guys!! 💞
Not going through IVF, but my best friend is and I’ve been following your journey to understand a bit more about what she’s going through! She doesn’t like to talk about it much, which I totally support, but this really helps me to understand the different stages/steps and emotions she may be feeling. Thank you for your transparency! Sending you guys so much love! ❤️
This blog made me feel a lot more confident in my egg retrieval Thai coming week. I’ve never been under and I am freaking out about it. You gave me hope ❤
I was SO scared but everything was totally okay! The nap was great haha and I didn’t wake up in any pain whatsoever. Barely had to take Tylenol when I got home throughout the day. You’ve totally got this ❤️❤️
I am wishing the MOST baby magic on those four eggs. You were spot on with what you said about feeling let down when you don’t get as many eggs as you’d hoped. I consumed so much media about egg retrieval where people had gotten like 15-20 eggs and when that was not my case I was definitely disappointed. I’m so thankful you’re sharing your story because I can’t imagine how many other women you are supporting through this strange, magical, infuriating, madness making, but hopefully baby making journey!
My clinic recommendeds egg retrivials with no anesthesia. I was SO nervous but I listened to their recommendation. I was giving a anti anxiety pill before the procedure and during they gave me one shot in my ovary of just local anesthesia. During the procedure I actually laughed to my doctor and said “that’s it?l! Lol. I was so relieved that it didn’t hurt. It felt a little worse than a Pap smear for me which was so tolerable. The most AMAZING thing that I’m so happy I was fully awake for was I got to see LIVE my eggs being extracted and sorted and fertilized. I have the photos and videos on my phone to share with my future children. I did 2 egg retrievals for 2 cycles and was fully awake for both and it was such a breeze. After the retrivial I went for a nice lunch with my husband. So glad I did it! I am now 10 weeks pregnant with my first frozen transfer!
I read your story to my husband and we could not believe your bravery!! Thank you so much for sharing. It is beyond cool to hear about other people's experiences and even cooler to hear how magical yours was! ❤️
honestly vlogging your experience must be so hard. I'm barely going thru my 1st round and I couldn't imagine vlogging everything. It definitely takes a special person(s) to do this. I admire you. Your videos definitely help with my anxiety. thank you! ❤
you're so so sweet 💕 vlogging has actually been such a nice distraction for me through this process! I've been able to express and process all my emotions and everything I'm feeling, while also finding others who are going through similar experiences and helping their anxieties as well 💕 thank you for being here!!
You are right, it is never over. But that can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Not being over means you have another chance, another shot at what you want. All those hormones made it so hard to control your anxiety so those nurses have probably seen way worse than you were acting. You were handling that anxiety like a pro! Expressing how you felt is good practice for when you will have all of those pregnancy and postpartum hormones ❤️ you got this!
before i even watch this can i just say how proud i am of you for facing your fears!? i know its not easy. im sorry you have to go through all this to have your baby but you are so strong and an inspiration!
You just don’t understand how invested I’m in to this journey I’m currently going through the same thing and I wish you the absolute best and lots of sticky baby dust ✨🥰
I am up with my two year old she is sick It's 2am and what a perfect vlog to watch to keep me awake. I know how disheartened you may be with 4 eggs but you are young and quality over quantity. I'm 43. I had my first epu in October I got 9 eggs...7 fertilised...2 made it to day 6 blastocysts. Both ended in miscarriages ( one at 9w one at 6w2d) I did my 2nd retrieval a month ago. I got 6 eggs. 4 fertilised and 2 blastocysts Sometimes less is best 💚 I can't wait to hear how many fertilised and how many embryos make it to day 5/6 x
Thank you so much for sharing Alana!! It definitely makes me feel much more hopeful hearing other people’s drop offs that still end in embryos ❤️❤️ can’t wait to share our results!
my cousin and his wife went through this and they had a little boy and I think they're having a girl now. I really hope this works out for you both! you would be wonderful parents❤
@@katjavestergaard489 the anxiety is truly debilitating but you’ve got this!! Every procedure I’ve done as part of IVF/infertility has been 10x easier than what I had in my head ❤️
