360 camera should have been common across all ax7 variants atleast.
Even if not common there should atleast be an option to retrofit the same at dealer level on the non-luxury variant.

One of the biggest disadvantages is that Mahindra doesnt povide Electronic stability programme in MX and AX3 variants while Tata provides it as a standard safety feature even in basic variants of Harrier and safari. ESP is one of the most important safety feature and it is a must have feature in bigger vehicles like SUVs.( ESP prevents almost 80% of skidding accidents .From next year onwards ESP will be mandatory to get a 5 star rating in GNCAP test) ESP starts in AX5 variant but it comes with a Sunroof which may affect the stuctural strength and safety of the vehicle if it topples. Mahindra should have provided the ESP atleast in the AX3 variant.
mahindra might give it in the next update , even harrier in its launch year in 2019 only have esp , vehicle stability and traction control only in top variant , but in 2020 update they started giving it in the base variant also looking at hector

AX 7 is my lovely varient...but not delivered after 3month passed booking date

Most booked variant - AX3, AX7
If you go ahead and opt AX7 Black Or white they directly say you have to wait 8 months
We booked AX7 Black (Not Luxury)
We got the delivery time as July trying best and good co-operation with showroom in getting car early, if won't get earlier might cancel ❌

They might have not given some basic important features which a 16-17L car should have..yet dont forget this is a big SUV and if you ignore those misses, you are getting much more than the Crossovers. You get a big 4.7m long SUV, wayy bigger and powerful diesel and petrol engines with manual and torque converters. Rock like high speed stability, better cornering abilities and better contained body roll than competition. Sharp, agile, quick handling and a suspension which is well judged and gobbles up bad roads like a charm. A 7 seater with an option of 5 seater if you want more space for boot, biggest panoramic sunroof, AdrenoX screens and better off-roading ability than the C segment. And atlast a big SUV stance.
Its your choice now which one you'll choose..: a feature loaded crossover or a big SUV which is a driver's delight; but with less features. If I had a budget of 16-17L i would've straight away bought the AX3 or AX5 variant. Whoz gonna fucking use those features all the time and who will miss the chance of getting a big SUV in budget?
This' how XUV 7OO became a blockbuster in the Indian market.
@@fadilrahman2157 totally agreed. People here are stupid. They are crying for pity features which could be installed aftermarket and would cover most of the losses. But getting such a powerful real SUV in such a budget is hard to find. SafariXm, harrier Xm, hector etc all these cars are costly and do not even offer alloys. This varient of 18L is offering much more than expected and people are crying for camera. Ha ha ha ha… I took the test drive of petrol creta and seltos. These cars being just a tin can offered huge power lag upon acceleration.
But when I took the test drive of xuv700 it was impossible for me to believe for its power and comfort. This is what a car is…..
smart buyers would opt for it and stupid ones will skip because of not having camera, cruise etc etc … ha ha h aaaaaa … lol

Dont forget that these prices are not static but depends entirely on the prices applicable at the time of delivery. So by the time you get it the proce may go steep by a lalh. Base model with rear defogger and wash wipe would satisfy most of the budget buyers. These features are very essential and in my case a deal breaker.
True. They could have taken 15 or 20k more and provided those in the MX variant. It has all the basic features except the rear washer wiper.

It's only for the Auto transmission. zip:eco, zap: normal, zoom: sports.

It was never launched bruh. Luxury Pack is available in AX7 DIESEL AUTOMATIC, AX7 DIESEL MANUAL, AX7 DIESEL AUTOMATIC AWD, AX7 PETROL AUTOMATIC.

AX7 Luxury should be like only 4 seater rear captain seats with heat and cool ventilation with extra cushion and pillow things with lambard support and extra thigh support with extra reclining seats with small refrigerator and wireless charger at rear armrest as well .
Power tailgate hydraulic bonnet . Ambient light on roof.

18L car doesn't have basic features like rear parking camera and cruise control and the reviewer is calling it a "value for money" option 😂😂
Original Mahindra rear camera costs just ₹3k and cruise control is anyway useless 90% of the drive time in India.

Didn't you miss Adaptive Cruise Control with stop & go (if at) & electronic parking break with auto hold in AX7L. The thing I that without adaptive cruise control, not much fun of ADAS I think.

It's showing 8KMPL in the instrument cluster in my friend's car AX 7L. Not sure of the real world mileage.
it’s almost a full size suv with 2.0 petrol engine it won’t give more than 7-8 in city and max 10-11 on highways , expecting more than that is just foolishness because these are meant for diesel engines only that give sufficient mileage of 12-14 in city and 16-17 on highways

MX because in this price, we are otherwise getting compact and mid size SUV, and MX has no competition.
12.5 lakh for this size and power is great.
Nearest competition is Harrier XM, which is around 4 lakh more than MX.

After 2 months of Waiting.
Got Delivery Estimate Month of May 2022. Shows Poor Manufacturing Strength. And Partial Delivery Allocation of Variants which are more Profitable. ✅
We booked AX7 Black on 7th October

AX5 is value for money.. really? Mahindra has not even offered basic features like push start/stop button, cruise control, no controls on one side of the steering wheel, reverse parking camera, auto foldable ORVM's, hard plastic everywhere, very average interior & the list goes on & on & on. And you seriously want people to shell out 18L for this crap.
AX5 is the variant to buy, my only complain is that it misses on leather wrapped steering wheel, gear knob, armrest and door pads. I think Mahindra should revise this in the future as for someone looking for a 5 seater variant, AX5 is the top variant.
It doesn’t comes with reverse camera and auto dimming rear view mirror and the cruise control is missing too. With additional cost of these Accesories ax5 will cost a bit more

You missed one thing , In MX varient there is color digital MID screen in the middle which gives car running information along with navigation. Speedometer and Tachometer are analog.
And no reverse parking sensors in MX varient.
If some1 want to take complete manual control of XUV700, then MX is that varient.
We can install all required genuine accessories to MX. So MX varient is pure Gold.
I mean Look at that Raging Red XuV700 turbo petrol engine with 200 horses power is like buying Ferrari in 15 lakh. Absolute no competitor for this MX Xuv700 petrol manual engine. This MX varient itself is big competitor for AX7 petrol engine which sells at around 22,lacs with same power 200 hp.
Mahindra will stop MX varient very soon probably by December end 2021.
Only a very few and almost negligible percentage of performance enthusiasts look at ONLY the engine output. Otherwise the MX variant in its bare bones avatar is not appealing to majority of the customers looking for a family car.

The Mahindra XUV700 AX7 is not equipped with a 360 View Camera. Moreover, you may install a 360 View Camera in the XUV700 AX7 variant. We wouldn't recommend getting the 360 camera to be installed from the aftermarket, in order to avoid hampering or voiding your car's warranty. You may get it installed from the authorized service center of Mahindra only: bit.ly/3mC2tSp

Which variant will be value for money?
The Mahindra XUV700 MX is a good list of equipment for a base variant. Consider this if you are on a strict budget. On the other hand, AX3 is premium and doesn’t feel justified for the feature additions. Skip this variant. Whereas, AX5 is the most value-for-money variant and our overall recommendation. And AX7 is the premium feels justified and consider if you want ADAS. The luxury pack feels a little overpriced.

Automobile company should give preference to petrol engine rather than diesel engine.. as Mahindra should increase petrol power engine to 250 BHP and 470 Nm torque..
