But now she is a character with proper depth and stuff they can work with to build a story around and that's all they wanted, for the queen of the most powerful human kingdom to be a character they could use in a story about that human kingdom. You are allowed to have a cool male character, in fact Mod Jack took that feedback very seriously about RS lacking a more stoic traditionally masculine male character and there was a lore council meeting on it they discussed plans for having such a character in the future (not the near future as 2023 is locked but more likely 2024 where plans can still shift a bit). He came on the lore discord today after the meeting and shared with us his notes like his triangle of masculinity breaking it down into strong, smart, sexy, and we thought about different characters that fit in 1, 2, or all areas. Like MCU Loki was more in smart+sexy area and when asking for a good middle ground character we had suggestions like Indiana Jones and James bond who hit all 3 core ideas though neither quite hit the stoic which was sort of a subset of the strong category. Was a very fun conversation dissecting famous male characters in media both traditional and non-traditionally masculine. The raptor was never going to be what you wanted him to be, he was concepted early on as being a woman in armor and they knew the day would come that they'd reveal that and that when it happened it couldn't be a reveal that hinged on him being a woman, there had to be more and being the superhero alter ego of the queen of varrock as a way to live the life she wanted while still being Roald's queen IS more. But just because the Raptor could never ultimately be what you wanted it doesn't mean that you can't have a character like that, and that's what the lore council's meeting was about.

stop nerfing everything good
Just be better
@@apophis456 mate Im not even personally affected. Im not rich enough to have fsoa etc. Its still bad game development to nerf things ages later after investment. Be smarter, shill
@@sethc2241 if you paid any attention to the nerfs you’d notice that the FSOA DPS is roughly the same, you just swap back to dual wielding. Animate dead needed the nerf because it was too strong, but rather than understand how game development works, which if you did you’d know changes and number balancing takes time, you wanna complain.
So yeah, if actually thinking about things rationally makes me a shill, then by all means I’m a shill. Not some kid complaining on the internet about things that he just admitted don’t even affect him 🤡🤡🤡
I only came here to comment about; The city of "um, I can't think of another name anymore."
The lead: "WAIT THAT'S IT!"
